North Korea might now have The Bomb, but it doesn't have much electricity

Anyone else find this hilarious?
"Except for my wife and family, that is my favourite photo," said Mr Rumsfeld.
hahahahaha

I don't. Rumsfeld gloating over others' misfortunate is kind of nauseating.

His basic premise is correct though. Looking at the photo I can't help but wonder: WTF is wrong with that crazy little troll? Axis of evil, indeed.

Not sure he's gloating over the misfortune of others, but rather seeing it as a validation for many of the beliefs he holds most dear.
"It says it all. There's the south, the same people as the north, the same resources north and south, and the big difference is in the south it's a free political system and a free economic system.

"The people in the north are starving, their growth is stunted. It's a shame, a tragedy."

To someone who has dedicated their life to supporting systems of government that are free and opposing those who aren't, this could certainly be seen as vindicating.

Just to clarify, the troll I was referring to is Kim Jong Il!

As for Rumsfeld, I'm not entirely sure what motivates him. I was only commenting on the rudeness of his remark. This one rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. Don't get me wrong, I agree with many of Rumsfeld's policies, for example the modernization of our military. I just think the comment was tasteless considering how the photo represents the oppression of an entire nation of people.
