The booster from a Russian satellite launch has crashed in Wyoming. Because it is NORAD that is looking for it makes me suspect that the DEFCON level must have been raised temporarily. If so, it is a good thing that humans, and not computers, have control over when nukes are launched.

Seriously, I would like to know if there was the possibility of an accidental nuclear launch over this, but I am sure that I, and everyone else, will never know. Perhaps it is better this way.
