The GOPs argument was that a President shouldn't pick a SC in an election year. Now all of a sudden, they want the President to pick a SC in an election year.
 
LOL, thought so. Part of the problem might me the age and malleability of the document; perhaps the sleaziness of senator McConnell. But I'm guessing "The Constitution TM" is to modern conservatives whatever they want it to be in the moment.
Nope. The Constitution is very clear in what it says.

The Dems argument was that it's ok to ignore a President's picks so long as it's only them doing it.
