Arafat was able to have the PLO recognized by Israel as the governing body for the West Bank and take police control over dozens of cities while Arafat agreed to recognize Israel. Nothing so far along had ever been accomplished before nor since. Yes, he was a terrorist. Anybody w/o a country that lives in the country that is not theirs and engages in armed conflict with the occupants as the enemy is a terrorist. As were the original Israelite in their armed engagement tactics.

Bringing home troops, bartering peace deals in the middle east among Arab countries and Israel. And Barack did what? They even said his Nobel prize was given based on the anticipation of what he might do.

Trump has increased US troops in the ME and sent more arms to Yemen, contributing to increased conflict there, and to Saudi Arabia, arming more anti-Israel nation that also send arms to the Yemen conflict, while breaking the Iran agreement, motivating Iran to move forward faster with their nuclear armament program. Trump also promoted communist dictator Kim on the world stage, previously unavailable to him by previous US presidents and other democratic nation leaders, and has defended Putin against our allies who know he killed his political competition and whistleblower, and defended the Saudi crown prince after our own IS confirmed he had a hand in the murder and dismemberment of US resident and journalist Khashoggi. Not things that should support confirmation for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Not that I care what a progressive from Canada thinks about U.S politics......but it was Obama who set up the horrible and stupid deal with Iran...Not Trump.

Trump got us out of that stupid thing and then seriously put pressure on Iran to come to the table.
