"When news broke of the Minneapolis shooter who opened fire on children attending mass at a Catholic school, news media carried the same photo of the suspect’s mother, no mention of a husband or father. It was a dead giveaway — “Robin” Westman’s parents were divorced. This important fact was only casually mentioned by a handful of media, days later.
To date, 434 school shootings have occurred since Columbine, resulting in 218 deaths, 510 injuries, and 397,000 children experiencing gun violence at school.
A 2018 international academic study found a strong link between childhood separation from parents and an “elevated risk for later violent criminality.” (The study specifically excluded children with deceased parents.) A subsequent nationwide analysis bolstered these results, finding a strong association between two-parent households and cities with markedly less crime. Indeed, nearly every school shooting in 2013 involved young men with divorced or never married parents."
But the pipeline between shooter and gun is invisible to you.I've stated over and over the breakdown in family structure, including the absence of a father in the home, has negatively impacted our society.
A recent study reinforces my conclusions

The below conclusions come from the study linked above.
Conclusions
"This national cohort study augments existing published evidence that separation from a parent during childhood is strongly associated with elevated risk for later violent criminality. Child–parent separation may be a marker for a range of adversities and dysfunctionalities in the household, especially in families experiencing multiple transitions."

Separation from a parent during childhood has been linked with heightened longer-term violence risk, but it remains unclear how this relationship varies by gender, separation subgroup, and age at separation. This phenomenon was investigated by ...pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
For the logistically challenged. (You don't know who you are so listen up.)
OK.Notice the link is to "violent criminality" which includes school shootings.
This is the same group that attributed Obama's economy to Trump 2 minutes after he got into office.
Hillary said it takes a village to raise a child and the right mocked her mercilessly. But the pipeline between shooter and gun is invisible to you.
And what legislation are you proposing to assist families to stay families? I"m guessing I'm about to hear a lot about popular culture and entertainment and woke.
And that's what I'm getting at that I'll just get at: they don't ****ing care about any families. They continually legislate against families, against kids. The anti vax mandate is amazingly hostile towards every family that sends their kids to public schools. Their constant voting to cut school lunches. And their fav subject - their continued support of systemic racism that continually brutalizes non whites in this country, especially Black people.Hillary said it takes a village to raise a child and the right mocked her mercilessly.
The study concludes that a broken home strongly raises the risk of violent criminality from their children.OK.

What's your proposed solution to this problem? How do we, as a country, ensure that children have fathers?I've stated over and over the breakdown in family structure, including the absence of a father in the home, has negatively impacted our society.

One program that has achieved excellent results is Head Start.I’m all about wishing kids got to grow up in intact families. Fully support that. Think having a family and a home filled with love and routine and structure is incredibly important to a kid.
I think it would be great if every kid got to grow up in a loving family with both of their parents, extended families and a strong social network of loving people involved in their lives.
I’d also love to see every kid have all the food, medicine, school supplies, clothes, etc that they need. And a good helping of the things they want.
But we can’t magically make parents and families be happy and stay together.
Our current administration is stripping food stamps away from people, stripping Medicaid away from people, making life more expensive for families, removing social safety nets and also attacking educational, medical and scientific institutions.
And we haven’t even touched on the guns.
It’s takes a family. A mother and father.Hillary said it takes a village to raise a child and the right mocked her mercilessly.
But that's not always possible, thus Hillary's village. It’s takes a family. A mother and father.
And let's also talk about what culture we want to aspire to: they shit all over any woman who is working and doesn't have kids, but not a word about the tech bros who don't seem to give a single shit about a single thing. They value nothing but money, and because they have these great lives funded by the company they can't imagine why rank and file employees don't wish to work 80 hours a week. Elon Musk is held in great esteem by the right and yet his entire lifestyle and created work environment is the epitome of being anti-family.I’m all about wishing kids got to grow up in intact families. Fully support that. Think having a family and a home filled with love and routine and structure is incredibly important to a kid.

Thus the continued high risk of violent criminality by kids from broken families. But that's not always possible, thus Hillary's village.
Or money. If you're rich enough, you can pay other people to raise your children. Send them to the best schools, summer camps, and tutors. They may not feel loved, but they probably won't turn into a violent criminal either. It’s takes a family. A mother and father.
And if you look further, I'm betting you'll find all sorts of maladies associated with broken homes. Broken homes = bad. Happy families = good. The study concludes that a broken home strongly raises the risk of violent criminality from their children.
What if the mother is a whore and the father is a drunk? It’s takes a family. A mother and father.
@VySky is great at pointing out societal problems. He is not so great, however, with solutions. The study concludes that a broken home strongly raises the risk of violent criminality from their children.
