At the very least I think we'd be in much better standing with our allies (Canada, Germany, France) and not coddling up to putin, Kim Jung Un, Duterte, and releasing statements that make excuses for KBM murdering American residents.

As far as what she would've done... I think the college bit (not debt free. She ran on tuition free) along with working on expanding coverage of healthcare would've been on the table. The tax cuts for the rich wouldn't have gone through and we probably wouldn't be racking up $100,000,000,000 deficits in just one month.

True confidence and lack of insecurity is when you can take a few digs if they are well intentioned, or take nasty-assed insults if they are not well intentioned.
I have seen where Trump can not take either.
His body language shows how insecure he is.

That being said, I am sure the dinner would have been better if they got a comedian who was actually funny for all sides.
No one enjoys one-sided jokes all the time.
You have to spread it around and not be a one-trick pony like Samantha Bee or Trevor from the Daily Show.
I don't think such a critter exists right now.

Using hindsight is nifty but was not available prior to the 2016 POTUS election. The bottom line is that Hillary was not a very impressive or energetic candidate who (mostly) assumed that she would easily beat some outsider like Trump just by being the more liberal, spending more and touting her experience.
