Of course she would have....

What choices do we have with Republican candidates? Nazi Tripel or Nazi Light...and nobody wants Nazi Light. They're taking their AR-15s and shooting up cases of Nazi Light. So Nazi Tripel it is.

...[O]n Friday, speaking to an audience of conservative Christians in Iowa, Ms. Haley was challenged on whether she would have signed a ban on abortions after six weeks of pregnancy had it been passed by the Legislature when she served as governor of South Carolina.

“Yes, whatever the people decide,” Ms. Haley replied, suggesting that she believed restrictions on abortion should be left to the states. “This was put in the states — that’s where it should be. Everyone can give their voice to it.”...

Her remarks in Iowa on Friday were not a drastic departure from her previous stance, but her gesture of support for a ban at six weeks after conception, when many women don’t yet know they are pregnant, could pose a political risk.

Ms. Haley is performing well in New Hampshire, the second state to vote in the Republican primary, where voters tend to be more supportive of abortion rights. (The state currently bans abortions after 24 weeks.) And wealthy G.O.P. donors, who have paid more attention to Ms. Haley after her strong debate performances, are also more moderate on abortion....

i never knew that her birth name is Nimarata Nikki Randhawa.

going by Nikki and getting married gives here a much easier name to pronounce.

That's really below the belt, isn't it? Is an O'Donnell more palatable? I thought we welcome all immigrants.
More to the point, I think Nikki is torn between catering to the Maga Christians and women in general. Politicians are like that, test the water, check wind direction, say what they think voters want to hear.
It would be nice to find someone with a backbone who puts it out there and let the chips fall where they may.

i just went to her wiki page and realized i don't know how to pronounce her birth name.

Not sure why republicans say anything but according to the supreme court it is left to each state to decide. Leave it at that. Where I live the decision has zero impact on women.

Because states won't leave it at that.

Republicans went to the courtroom of one of the most notorious Trump judges in the country and asked to join the lawsuit that could revoke FDA approval of the abortion pill, mifepristone. That suit was filed almost a year ago, and we’re currently waiting to see if the Supreme Court will take up the case on appeal. Experts agree that the anti-abortion doctors don’t have standing to sue, and many people think the court will agree to hear the case and then rule against the doctors.

That fact may explain why, on Friday, Nov. 3, the Republican attorneys general from Missouri, Kansas, and Idaho filed a motion to intervene in Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk’s court, claiming their states are also being injured by the approval of the abortion pill back in 2000. These Republican AGs are swooping in to join the case at the eleventh hour, and it certainly looks like they’re worried about SCOTUS ruling against the plaintiffs, doctors from the shadowy Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine.

The Post-Dobbs Legality of Out-of-State Abortion Travel Bans

Despite victory at the polls, abortion rights advocates are expecting legislative challenges about the amendment’s language. “That’s not going to end the fight,” Mann says.
Where I live the decision has zero impact on women.
Can you cite a source for that?

Make no mistake, if the righties take the White House and Congress, they WILL push for a national abortion ban.

And this extreme SCOTUS would let them keep it.

They will never get to 60 votes in the Senate.
