I do agree with your assessments. I can't stand these fifty yard penalties and no kickoff returns. It's tackle football at its highest level, it's rough and should be. Not dirty but rough.
 
Your point might carry more weight if it weren't for the fact that digital viewership was up to a near record.

With everyone who has cut the cord, trying to use strictly TV viewership as some sort of gauge is a pretty silly thing to do.

No more tired than conservatives hearing protesting, looting, burning, cop assaulting thugs claim they are mistreated because someone who fights cops, assault cops resist arrest, fails to comply with with police, ends up getting shot. How about trying to obey the police or better yet don't commit a crime that results in police having to come deal with you in the first place.

A normal person who disagrees just lets the players speak their minds and moves on instead of whining like a baby.

Its not that hard.....there are idiots who deserve to be arrested for thier stupidity. There are also bad cops.

Perhaps wokeness has taken its toll - as even a "racial unity" moment during last night's game was booed by fans.

Could it be that Covid 19 has something to do with this change in ratings? Or are you quite sure that most football fans are such racists that they cannot enjoy the game unless blacks are kept "in their place"? I guess we will see....Maybe an all white football league is in the cards?
