Newt (1 Viewer)

I prefer Newt/Rice...or Rice/Newt...either will be fine with me.

Gingrich/Allen?

You guys put Newt on a ticket, and you are going to loose. It would be just like the Democrats trying to win the Presidency with Teddy Kennedy on the ticket.

You have to remember that just because the far right likes a guy, does not mean that most Americans would. In fact, it pretty much guarantees that most Americans wont.

I am not sure a Gingrich Kennedy is a good comparison.....Nobody has the baggage of Kennedy.............I would compare Gingrich to someone lie Finegold or Biden on the left.........I don't think he can win the nomination though......

Biden?????? The guy is hardly some bleeding heart liberal. I don't know if he could win a nomination or not, but ideologically, the guy is probably as mainstream as it gets.

Oh please let it be Newt or Allen or Frist! It would be sooooo much fun. ;)

Yeah I can remember when Liberals were saying the same thing about Ronald Reagan.........Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.......;)

I like Powell/Gingrich. After 8 years of W/Cheney, I think the Republicans should put the former 4 Star at the head of the War on Terror campaign.
Needless to say, the Dems wouldn't be able to say much against them on Terror issues with...Hillary.

Actually, being a Reform Party member, my 3rd party Dream Team campaign is Powell-Wes Clark. I salivate when I think how that could change landscapes.

Powell has no ambition to be president. He was hung out to dry by Bush on the WMD thing at the UN. That would haunt him in 08.

Something tells me that they "White Evangelical Christian Party" is not quite ready for a somewhat liberal Republican pro-Affirmative Action Black Male Nominee for President, and much less ready for a pro-Affirmative Action, Black, Lesbian, Woman Nominee for President.

Gingrich/Falwell would about do it for me. It certainly would appeal to every Republican still marching in lockstep with Our Worst President Ever.
