It is GOP dishonesty that crows about "Trump's economy." It has been growing steadily since 2010. Once Trump took office, that growth continued at a slower rate. Once the pandemic hit, it crashed back to recession levels. This is nothing to brag about.

The cause was Democrats in Congress demanding banks give loans and mortgages to anyone and everyone - whether they could afford it or not - claiming not doing so is racist and economic discrimination.

Democrats didn't demand this. Banks need no government coercion to give loans to people who can't afford them. It was Republican refusal to regulate this behavior that caused the recession.

Most people vote their pocket book! Why would you believe Joe Biden would do better than what we saw under Trump's economic policy?

The easiest answer to that question is that in order for to even have a chance of returning to that economy, first we have to control the pandemic. Since Trump's method of handling the pandemic is to ignore it, and since Biden will execute a timely and orderly rollout of a vaccine when it's available, then we know that it will be Biden who will most likely return us to the economy of before.

Now that doesn't mean that Biden will successfully return the economy to normal, but what we know is that Trump won't (and cant) return the economy to normal.

Note: I'm not interested in gas lighting so if you try it I'll ignore it.
