New poll shows that Republicans are totally screwed with latino voters

As for the "libertine" nature of the Dems, the Dem leaders are really good at bringing disparate segments together as a bloc -- they're masters at "disaffected" propaganda -- though they are having a bit of trouble right now with their African America community over a couple of issues, amnesty and legalization being one of them.
As a child of African American AND Hispanic families (think: "Our Family Wedding" with equal if not identical amounts of drama), I can honestly say this is not true. African Americans are more nuanced than this and realize that the real problem lies with Republicans and their love of cheap Mexican labor. The solution is not to curb immigration but to curb worker exploitation.

And, only a sadly small percentage of the population is sufficiently politically astute to figure much out for themselves, and so they'll likely lean whereever they experience an alliance of some kind. Thus we can't accurately project our knowledge onto them; we may get all this, but most simply don't, and thus they'll vote in ways that cause us to scratch our head.
Republicans show a great deal of disdain for the poor, and for the working class, and have built their entire brand on telling workers to worship the captains of industry lest they be punished for anti-capitalist sacrilege. The number of poor and working class are growing. The fact that Republicans cannot to do the math on what this leads to, is the PRIMARY reason why they're going the way of the dinosaurs.

You yourself missed the point when you wrote "It's those who believe in the patriotic relationship between America and business success."

America is about the patriotic relationship between America and success of its workers and businesses. Not just America and business success. Your inability to consider the LARGEST demographic of all - the working class - is your ultimate weakness. It's why you scratch your head about what's going on. Trust me, those of us on the left are not at all confused as to the decline of the GOP. We're not scratching our heads. We know. We've known for a long time what was going on. We even warned you the decline of the GOP was at hand. And now it is here.

Thanks for showing us how you equate apples to oranges. Unless you came to some moronic conclusion that we are trying to re-define "immigration", you've got nothing. And, of course, last but not least, immigration wasn't a "tradition". It was a process of populating this country, not a tradition in any normal sense of the word.

Ahh, I see. It's not about "tradition" (ie the way we used to do things); You just have a moral objection to redefining words

The decline of the GOP is greatly a Dem fantasy/wish, as the Repub House majority for awhile does attest.

If the GOP kills the amnesty and legalization bill, they will continue to garner favor with centrists -- the great majority in America -- as well as keep all in their conservative base happy, though business owner worker exploiters will remain a little peeved that they still have to behave criminally to exploit workers, as they would have perhaps been willing to trade an increase to minimum wage for not having to worry about getting caught hiring illegally when they exploit.

But .. if the GOP passes the amnesty and legalization bill, they are most certainly toast, as you most certainly know.

But this might be a shocker for you: socialism has zero of a chance of ever happening in America, zilch, nada, no way, no how, as long as we are as greatly over-populated in America as we are now.

Because as long as there are so few resources -- jobs, classrooms, living space, road space, medical care facilitites, etc., etc., etc., there will be neurotic dog-eat-dog competition for them, and that breeds a resulting hierarchy in an economic system, that we know as capitalism.

So if the Dems create too many socialistic policies that, naturally, will harm America and citizens, there will be a backlash and a resultant GOP rise in power, just as there always has been. Americans can only take so many stupid self-destructive decisions by liberal policy makers before they say enough is enough .. which is truly what African Americans are saying now.

So, if you want socialism to have a chance, you have to reduce the population to create a balance equity between production and need, as there simply isn't enough raw everything otherwise .. and adding 20 million illegals to the amnesty-and-legalization legal pay scales only greatly exacerbates the very problem you must first solve before you can ever really dream of your socialist utopia in America.

Your fear, however, should not be the conservatives, as it is we centrists that are the Dems' biggest obstacle .. and we tend to vote in favor of U.S. citizens and reducing population numbers.

Why do Conservatives have no problem prostituting themselves to angry white voters and the corporate elite and selling their vote to the highest bidding corporate lobbyist?

I think we know why you won't answer that. :)

Go ahead, tell everyone why I won't answer that - I'd be interested.

I think of it more as bastardizing and perverting a social framework that has been very important to human survival. But you can think of it as mere word definitions if it helps you grasp it.

You are being intentionally dishonest or you are ignorant of the facts, which is it?

Here are the facts. The GOP holds the majority in the House because of gerrymandering, and nothing else. They even bragged about it. The GOP got less votes than the Democrats, overall, in the 2012 House elections.

If the GOP kills the amnesty and legalization bill, they will continue to garner favor with centrists -- the great majority in America
Says who? Who are these centrists? The middle age white voters, whose population is also in decline? You're not recruiting anyone from the ranks of non-white people for that group anymore.

But this might be a shocker for you: socialism has zero of a chance of ever happening in America, zilch, nada, no way, no how, as long as we are as greatly over-populated in America as we are now.
You will either have socialism or you'll have a massive economic collapse. And then Socialism.

Because as long as there are so few resources -- jobs, classrooms, living space, road space, medical care facilitites, etc., etc., etc.,
All artificial shortages, the truth of which will come out when the rent-seeking wealth hoarders can't protect themselves from the rioters.

So if the Dems create too many socialistic policies that, naturally, will harm America and citizens, there will be a backlash and a resultant GOP rise in power, just as there always has been. In whose universe are African Americans saying "enough is enough" to liberalism? This claim is most EASILY disregarded as a hilarious fantasy on your part. The African American populace is utterly lost to Conservatism in general and the GOP in particular.

Let me explain to you why Socialism is going to rise: because the ranks of the poor are rising. That is a tidal wave that completely overwhelms and washes away every other factor you mentioned. Poverty breeds Socialism. It also breeds revolutions. Keep that even more in mind.

Whatever. Once those "illegals" :lamo are here, if there are in fact 20 million of them, they'll overwhelm you. That is, if the Democratic Party has any balls.

Your saving grace here is the Democratic Party is a bunch of despicably spineless cowards, and that may well be the absolute game-ending weakness. But even then it won't end in victory for you. It'll end in a massive revolution by the exploding ranks of the poor - whether we allow the illegals in or not.

Go ahead, tell everyone why I won't answer that - I'd be interested.
Because you know what I say is true, and you can literally predict what the GOP will do if you ask, "What would Wall Street and the Corporate Elite want?" Literally. Flawlessly. Without fail.

And that's not "tradition"

I love watching you jump on and off the "tradition" argument.

A social framework very important to human survival might be tradition but you can't confuse THAT with homosexual marriage. Immigration wasn't a tradition. You are easily confused, aren't you?
