BA militants and a plot to control Labour: Damning emails from strike union chief reveal secret agenda | Mail Online

A series of astonishing emails from Unite official Graham Stevenson, who is also on the executive of the British Communist Party, reveal the union plans to 'reclaim or refound' Labour, dumping Blairite policies in favour of old-style socialism.

This is not the first time union people, as well as blogosphere Reds, have squealed about how Labour has betrayed Socialism by trying not to be quite so much a bunch of fiery losers.

The Labour Party is damned if it does and damned if it doesn't. If it stays as NuLab it will doom itself to years of unpopularity as people remember the political correctness, the sleaze, the high treason in signing sovereignty out to the EU, the lies, the Communists in the Cabinet and down, the vote rigging and intimidation of political opponents as big as the Tory party, the illegal wars, asylum flood, union-backed street rioters having a go in the name of 'anti fascism', the betrayal of the remnants of British industry at the same time as greedy bank bosses are rewarded for their incomepetence and negligence, etc.

But if they go back to Old Labour they will doom themselves to years of unpopularity as people remember the strikes, the power cuts, wage claims, union barons dictating government policy, soaring hyperinflation, industrial collapse, nationalised industries helping to ramp taxes skyward, Red councils, rioters (including those from Militant Tendency) 'taking the streets' for Labour, etc.

But perhaps both Labours can bond and re-build upon what they have in common - a Marxist heritage. They can only rebuild together.

I've just received a Youtube comment to something I posted about our politicians.

robert23456789 has replied to your comment on Gordon Brown vs David Cameron at PMQs:

[I'm an] English man who wants to love this country
but cant love it as it sucks monkey balls.
The law sucks, they waste money
and they blame computer games for their lack of ability to solve the crime problems

Just look at that again. The chap said that he wants to love our country but finds it impossible due to our rulers. The law's an ass, he says, with politicians scapegoating videogames for their own failures.

Well, that's your Public, sick of failure and corruption.

I'm sorry the UK has to deal with this, and I hurt for the UK conservatives who have to sit back and watch their nation be ruled by the Labour party and a liberal ideology. I sympathize with them, because it's similar here in America at this time. I am not an expert on UK politics, but this was a good read and I enjoyed it. It's almost scary in a way. I hope Labour gets voted out and conservative reform can retake the United Kingdom. Much of Europe is in need of this, and I fear the worst may be yet to come if Europe still goes along a socialist route.

Are you seriously offering that passage as some kind of proof or validity to justify your irrational fears?

Paul

No. Because I'm not setting out to prove what you claim I want to justify! Therefore, your attempt at invalidity fails. (But still, emotional and retarded character attacks is all the Left has remaining to them, hence New Labour failure and public disgust with political correctness!)

Get logical dude!

YOU not ME, offer a quote and suggest this is 'representative' of the British public. So that makes the quote in YOUR opinion representative of what YOU suggest the British public has opined.

I asked if you feel that the the quote YOU offered was justifying Your concerns ? if you now intimate its not your concerns that the quote is speaking for, then what are you actually suggesting?

Paul

Oooooo, keep your hair on!

I saw. It chimed. I put it in. And he wouldn't be the first to be angry with the Government, not by a very long shot, as the grumbles you hear in the shops and on the streets at the newspaper stalls just proves. That just about wraps it up and anyway, it is my topic.

(But now we're on it, I also happen to think it's a bit too convenient to scapegoat video games instead of facing your own failures:

Now why don't you have a nice lie down and stop worrying about my perceived nonsense?

The genuine extremism is never far below Labour's surface.

No wonder the failures of Old Labour were pushed out by the snake oil salesmen of New Labour! But sure as Labour's Labour, failure, eccentricity and ineptitude put them back where they started in the Public's estimation!

The only question to ask is which nation-wrecking lunacy could they adopt next, for as long as they're not rumbled?!

Did you just say he was attempting to be an invalid? Just trying to be logical here...

I don't see why this dude says New Labour failed when it kept the Labour party in power for the longest time its ever been in power. That's like saying Thatcherism failed because John Major lost in 1997 after 18 years of the Conservatives staying in government. Obviously for the conservative party Thatcherism was wildly successful for nearly two decades and it forced Labor to the economic right in order to come back into power. For New Labour, whatever you might say about how good or bad it was for the country, it has helped the Labour party so much that even in the midst of the financial crisis they were able to prevent the Conservatives from getting a majority. If Labour is smart (again this is just on the level of getting elected, what is best for the UK is another issue) they'll stay with some type of New Labour (maybe some rebranding but the same basic package) because it has shown spectacular results for the party.

It wasn't so much that New Labour was a glittering prize, more that the Tories were so discredited by 1997 that all Blair had to do was convince people that his party had changed. And it was pretty much the reverse for Margaret Thatcher, leastways before the real net benefits of Thatcherism took effect. Indeed, it took the nation many years to recover from the effects of socialism, with some even saying that it was only victory in the Falklands war which won her the 1983 election.

No more than around 30% of the electorate voted Labour in 1997, with the others voting otherwise or abstaining. At the 2005 election only 22% of the electorate voted Labour. Indeed it's apathy with the entire system largely to blame for Labour staying in so long, its majority withering after each General Election. But now Labour are finally out it remains to be seen if their equally discredited system of 'Third Way' political correctness and 'one world' ethos will lose them public trust for as long as the Tories did.
