“Carbon dioxide makes things grow. Plants love this stuff,” John Christy has said.

The newest member of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Science Advisory Board is a climate change skeptic whose research has been debunked and who believes that burning fossil fuels is actually beneficial.

“There’s a benefit, not a cost, to producing energy from carbon,” John Christy, an atmospheric science professor at the University of Alabama in Hunstville, told E&E (Energy and Environment) News.

Not a surprise in the Trump era. That this guy is a tenured professor at a state university is in itself shocking.

Here's the URL link to his university page: https://www.nsstc.uah.edu/users/john.christy/index.html

Yup, another prime example of complete corruption put into place to please the fossil fuel industry. In other words creating jobs according to the feeble minded. Never mind we're killing ourselves with pollution.

They have so thoroughly desensitized us. I know I should be staring at this "man's" words in extreme contempt, and I am in a way. But the emotion isn't there. That's stupid enough that ranting about can be justified with true righteousness.

We must never forget our enemies faces in this War on Reality.

Right? My jaw should have hit the floor reading that but at this point my only reaction was, "sure".

So green plants no longer depend on CO2 to stay alive?

When did that happen?
