Nah. He'll be speaker comes JanuaryAnd McCarthy’s dreams of being SOH vanish in 3…2….1…..
This has long been debunked. And why is this a surprise to you? Of course, Trump knows he could have handled things better.
First off, Trump should have pushed the Speaker Of The House harder when he asked her to provide more protection against possible lawbreakers.
Trump's request for Nancy to ask for troops to help defend the Capitol on Jan. 6 proves that Trump knew we needed to provide more protection. Nancy was the only one who could ask the President for troops and she wanted a riot so she refused to do her duty and allow Trump to provide those troops.
Trump should have publically demanded that Nancy ask for the protection she knew the Capitol needed.
Give me a break. Is there anyone out there who didn't know that more protection was needed when you expected a huge group of protestors who believed the election was stolen?
Trump should have pushed Nancy harder.
Perhaps Trump should have broken the law and ordered troops to the Capitol even after Nancy refused to ask for them?
Why did Nancy refuse to ask for help?
This one is on Nancy because she, and only she, was responsible for protecting the Capitol!
No one other than Nancy was legally allowed to ask for help. And Nancy knew that additional protection was needed.
If Nancy had asked for troops and Trump had refused, Trump would have been responsible.
The fact is that Nancy wanted a riot. Her refusal to ask for help proves that Nancy was personally responsible for the riot and the deaths that occurred on January 6.
Nancy gets 90% of the responsibility for causing the riot and those who didn't encourage her to ask for help share the other 10%.
Would be nice of the January 6th committee looked into that, wouldn't it?This has long been debunked.

Bullshit. She is off limits. They are.
Looked in to what?Would be nice of the January 6th committee looked into that, wouldn't it?
Weird how this claim keeps coming up and right wingers never actually support it with evidence. The fact remains that the Speaker of the House is responsible for the security of the Capitol.
Not only Trump, but the Capitol Hill police asked Nancy for more security support.
My guess is that if Nancy's emails were checked we would find that Nancy wanted the Capitol to be breached.
I don't know what your job is but if you were warned multiple times about the safety of your people being in jeopardy, you might accept help when it was offered.
Trump told Nancy that there could be trouble and Trump asked her to put in a request for Federal Troops to provide protection for the Capitol.
Even if Trump caused the breach, Nancy was responsible for stopping it.
It was Nancy's responsibility to protect the Capitol. It was her responsibility, and her's alone.
Nancy refused help when everyone knew there could be a breach.
Nancy can claim total ignorance of anything that led up to the breach, but she cannot claim that she was not responsible for protecting the Capitol and the Congress people who were set to vote on Jan. 6.
Law enforcement people will tell you that the person who gains the most is usually the prime suspect.
Trump lost any chance of having investigations into voter fraud.
Nancy got total protection from the media so she was never asked why she wouldn't listen to the Capitol Police when they begged for support.
One simple question for you. Why did Nancy refuse to ask for help when she knew darn well that the Capitol needed more protection?
Why would he deny it?Let's be real -- the reason McCarthy and McConnell flipped after their initial comments about the former guy having responsibiity is because the former guy threatened to start a third party guaranteeing GOP losses; had he been impeached.
The former guy has already come out since these tapes have been released and said "he is good with McCarthy". He cannot deny the conversations took place
"Remains to be seen."Bullshit. She is off limits.
"Well, if you look at the charge that we have in the resolution, it says the facts and circumstances around January 6. I don't see the speaker being part and parcel to that. It's a free country, and people can say what they want. As to whether or not it has a place in this committee remains to be seen." Chairman Bennie
Subpeona them both. Call them both in and grill them as to why they told the Capitol police six times to **** themselves when they asked for the national guard."Remains to be seen."
And Pelosi isn't a part of it because she had no more authority over the capitol police than Mitch McConnel did. Therefore, the Jan 6 committee should be no more interested in her as it is in him.

Ex-Capitol Police Chief Says Requests For National Guard Denied 6 Times In Riots
Steven Sund contradicts reports that help was not requested, saying security officials at the House and Senate rebuffed calls for assistance ahead of and during the attack on the Capitol.www.npr.org
Why not? Because Nancy's Partisan Circus of a Committee doesn't give a cap about the truth of January 6th. All they are interested in is anything they can use against Trump and REpublicans in the November and 2024 elections.
I would be refreshing if you admitted that truth.

What does that link have to do with Nancy Pelosi or Mitch McConnell? Neither Nancy Pelosi nor Mitch McConnell had the authority to confirm or deny a request to bring in the National Guard. Neither one told Capitol Police to go **** themselves. There is no evidence that they were even aware of the request. From your link:Subpeona them both. Those "security officials" are not Nancy Pelosi nor Mitch McConnell, nor do they answer to them.Which words did you not understand?
"The former chief of U.S. Capitol Police says security officials at the House and Senate rebuffed his early requests to call in the National Guard ahead of a demonstration in support of President Trump that turned into a deadly attack on Congress."
Yes they do. The Sargent of Arms report directly to the Speaker and the Majority Leader. Those "security officials" are not Nancy Pelosi nor Mitch McConnell, nor do they answer to them.
You are right because "character" is not something that Republicans value. In fact, that actually shun it.Nah. He'll be speaker comes January
The Capitol Police Board answers to neither, however. The Speaker and the Majority Leader nominate the Sergeants at Arms, but the Capitol Police Board determines how best to secure the capitol. They even have the responsibility to override any orders given by the speaker or the majority leader (or the President) when security warrants it.Yes they do. The Sargent of Arms report directly to the Speaker and the Majority Leader.
PolitiFact - No, Capitol security is not only Pelosi’s responsibility, but she bears some
More than six weeks after supporters of then-President Donald Trump stormed the U.S. Capitol, posts spread on Facebook cwww.politifact.com
I'm going stop posting support if you are not going to read the material. Seriously. The Capitol Police Board answers to neither, however. The Speaker and the Majority Leader nominate the Sergeants at Arms, but the Capitol Police Board determines how best to secure the capitol. They even have the responsibility to override any orders given by the speaker or the majority leader (or the President) when security warrants it.
So there is no evidence that Pelosi or McConnell gave any orders regarding deployment of the National Guard, and even if they did, the Capitol Police Board would not have been required to follow them.
