How is the Ayatollah a hardliner when he is openly supportive of the talks?
Good afternoon old chap. I do hope you are faring well.
Yes, they were commitments made prior, however, the fact of the matter is that while there is antagonism between Obama and Netanyahu on a personal level, the relationship between Israel and the US has not changed in the slightest. The US will still continue to give diplomatic, military, intelligence, and economic support to Israel. So, I don't get as to why so many people are saying that Obama has drastically changed the US relationship with Israel.
How is the Ayatollah a hardliner when he is openly supportive of the talks?
Why should who gets elected in Israel be of any consequence whatsoever to Americans and why does it matter so much ?
The UK has an election in a couple of months and that won't generate a tenth of the posts Israels have even though nominally we are supposed to be your closest ally
Whats really going on here ?
How is the Ayatollah a hardliner when he is openly supportive of the talks?
gee..
let's see...
Netanyahu gets invited to speak to a joint session of congress.
Obama goes ape **** and sends his aides to destroy his reputation, and his loyal stupid voters pick up the meme and attack Netyanhu, even calling a twice wounded and decorated war hero a "coward" in an aggressive White House backed propaganda campaign.
THEN, the president of the United States lets it be known he is trying to affect the outcome of elections in a sovereign state......and loses!
Why would anyone have the slightest interest in Israel's election? ****ing beyond me...maybe its because Hillary and her antics are the only other news, and that is even more depressing for the "stupid voters" as it has a decade of consequences
Huh? Support for talks or lack of that support is what determines whether or not the Ayatollah is a hardliner? Now you are just making stuff up.How is the Ayatollah a hardliner when he is openly supportive of the talks?
So lets for arguments sake replace Israel with a country of similar sized population like Norway for instance . Would this even warrant a mention at all in the US ? Why this US obsession with all things Israeli ?
So you think it is appropriate for the Obama Administration to fund the opposition candidate in Israel?
I believe a Republican President would support Israel regardless of who is President.
Norway?
Let's see.....has the prime minister of Norway been invited to speak to congress?
Is there a significant Norwegian population in the US as there are Jews?
If he had would it even get noticed I wonder ?Has the president sent out junior aides to attack the integrity of the prime minister of Norway?
And, does Norway have a close relationship with the US, so much so that Norway is an election issue every four years?
Let me know when there is a yes to any of the above, in the meantime quit playing straw man....
man what you're doing isn't even debate, it's just plain ugly ego covering
and we are to ignore Obama's attempts to demean him and interfere with Israeli elections why?
FFS if a thread on Obama can be turned into a ****ing prolonged debate about BUSH, why in the **** should not comment on the fact Obama tried to sway this election and LOST. AGAIN.
for the record? This is called "Debate Politics"...and Obama is politics and we are here to debate. If it gets too rough now that the veneer has baked off the rock star, I know an all-Obama site where you can control all that is said about him....
If it was appropriate for the House to host a stump speech.
Israel doesn't have a President. Your belief that Republicans do no wrong notwithstanding.
The thread had nothing to do with Obama. You had no problem with Boehner allowing Bibi to campaign using the House chamber as a backdrop. Is involvement in their election only had when it's Obama?
Your support of the incompetent is noted
A stump speech? Apparently you get your news from the mainstream media just like Obama. Stump speech about Obama and his ignorance about the middle east and Iran, just like his supporters total ignorance of anything in the world that isn't about same sex marriage or anti religion. Here read the analysis
Bibi for President! - Wayne Allyn Root - Page full
You call what is happening in the Middle East and what Obama is doing irrelevant? What is it about Obama that creates your kind of loyalty?
You supported the previous incompetent, so I guess we're equal.
Yes it was a campaign speech intended to give him a photo op showing how important he was.
The difference between you and me I look at results you buy rhetoric. I was wrong in calling Netanyahu President and you were wrong stating that Israel doesn't have a President

Seriously?
You think you can separate Netanyahu's election from the man who tried to get him ousted?
Have a nice day
The difference is in what the rhetoric is. Your concern for results will suddenly evaporate in 2 years.
No, sorry, but the next President is going to have a bigger mess to clean up than the ones people like you claim Obama inherited which just goes to show how little you understand about basic economics, our economy, and the world situation. The results the next President will inherit is a world in chaos due to the absence of U.S. Leadership and an economy with close to 20 trillion in debt along with a stagnant labor force and poor job opportunities due to failures of leadership.
