NBA 2021

Alex Rodriguez plans on buying the Timberwolves.

Can't get any worse?

He's only the figurehead. A billionaire is putting up the cash. It's not like A-Rod is Mike. Speaking of Jordan, does everything he touch turn to gold?

According to Reuters, the six-time NBA champion bought the Charlotte Hornets for $180 million, controlling 97 percent of the team's equity. Forbes places their value at $1.5 Billion. This is a 20 percent increase from their previous year's worth. This places them as the 25th most valuable franchise in the league.
Apparently so.

Denver did what Denver does best last night--lose to a terrible team. Making matters worse, they may have lost their second best player.

He tore his ACL. The Nuggets season is over.

Yeah, it looked like a Derrick Rose type injury on the video. But, I kept mum on that prognosis until it came out from the doctors. This might be worse than just a lost season. Rose was never the same again.

Rose also suffered 3 meniscus tears. Those also contributed to his loss of athleticism.

Net's 5th string point guard was hurt today, the Net's played the second half without any point guard.
That's Kyrie!

Just remember. This clown quit a championship team because too much was demanded of him. He then quit on perhaps the best coach in the league because too much was asked of him. I'm somewhat stunned that KD would sign with NJ when it became clear that a quitter like Kyrie would be on the team.

Tonight Durant will not play, he is tired from playing last night. This was just released. Honest, these guys are this arrogant/spoiled/awful.
The Net's, last night, lost their 5th string point guard. He was the only PG available for the game. They played the second half with no one at the point. Maybe Kyrie will show tonight? I know Aldridge will not. Griffin and Harding are out as well.
Well, on a positive note, Philly gets no look at the Net's before the playoffs. (or do they? Will the Net players continue to pick and choose when they will play even in the playoffs?)

So, only a few Net's on any given night can be bothered to play... the Net's playing the 76's with 8 minutes left in the game and Kyrie sits.
Now one minute left, the Net's down by 3. Kyrie still sits as all starters have for the last 5 minutes. Philly has all their starters in. Apparently Doc does not know players need to be on minute restrictions as Nash does.

Terrible to be a fan of this team.

Nets biggest problem is that they don't play defense and they're soft.

Charlotte is dropping like a rock, falling into play-in territory, while Boston and the Knicks rise above the fray to challenge Miami and Atlanta for the 4th spot. Apparently the Nets do not want to be number 1. They laid down tonight against Philly who came to play. No surprise there.

Suns are now within a game and a half of West leading Utah. With Murray out, Denver likely will not hold on to fourth as the Lakers begin to get healthy. No one will catch the Clippers at third.

LaMarcus Aldridge has retired from the NBA due to an irregular heartbeat which is odd because he has experienced this throughout his entire career.

Not a big loss IMO although Blake Griffin looks done. The Net's big signings a couple of weeks ago look like a complete bust.

Indeed, this is perplexing and yes, Griffin has brought nothing and with Aldridge gone, it was all much to do about nothing.

Lakers with an impressive win against Salt Lake!

No Donovan Mitchell, plus game-two of a Utah Back-to-Back. Not all that impressive.

Memphis beating Milwaukee in Milwaukee makes your head spin. Same applies to Phoenix being blown out at home by SA.

I honestly do not know who is a good team this year. I guess, if LeBron comes back 100%, he and the Lakers have to be the favorite. The other teams are just not consistent enough to bank on, and the Nets are just too top heavy with no D.

Lakers are without their two best players.
They've been playing that way for a month. Utah just played their first game without their star, on the night after he went down. It's a meaningless win.
