Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum. I am sure that I will be here for a while. I love politics. They are so fun!

I wanted to let everyone know of a simulation game that is out there. The game is called NationStates. If you love politics, then this may be the game for you!

"NationStates is a free nation simulation game. Build a nation and run it according to your own warped political ideals. Create a Utopian paradise for societies less fortunate or a totalitarian corporate police state. Care for your people or deliberately oppress them. Join the World Assembly or remain a rogue state. It's up to you."

I think that sums it up. It is from the game's homepage. I can answer any questions that you may have about the game. I do recommend that you play this game. It is a great way to have fun with politics and talk to people who may have your political beliefs or maybe your polar opposite views. But, you have to choose the right region when you get there. Join the region of "Democrats." The name is deceiving. We all, actually encourage all political affiliations. I will post the link below. Thanks for your time, and I hope I see you there. I look forward to future debates!

Jennifer Government: NationStates

P.S. If you decide to play, look up the nation of Varavano. That is me.

An ok site, nothing special though, and nothing to do with the book Jennifer Government (great book, btw). Any contribution to social good puts you further down the wealth scale and vice versa, and the whole thing's pretty general. The questions repeat themselves after a while.

yes the questions (issues) do repeat themselves after a while. But if you join the correct region, you can "roleplay". And it is not just lame roleplaying, some regions have active forums for debating and everything. And then you can also get a regional job and so on. If the only thing possible in the game was issues, I would have quit a year ago!
