The Exorcist is one of my favorite occult movies but I have read it was hated by critics.

i think that The Adventures of Ford Fairlane tanked pretty effectively, but I liked it. granted, it was overly misogynistic even in its day, so it would be really frowned on now. however, it did have some pretty funny parts.
 
I liked Last Action Hero despite it being a total disaster. I also kinda liked Wild Wild West.
