To those Democrats who blame Nader for Bush's 2000 victory, you have only your own party to blame. You also have only your own party to blame for the War in Iraq, as the Democratic party was too timid to stand up to Bush. Say what you want about Nader, but he did the right thing. I don't agree with Nader's politics in the least, but he did provide a real choice for those of you who are Liberal. Don't blame Nader. Blame your own Democratic party for not being the party of the people, as it claims to be.

Umm no. Al Gore was infinitely more qualified and competent than either George Bush or Ralph Nader. He WAS a real alternative.

This is somewhat true, although Bush would have gone to war even if most of the Democrats DID stand up to him.

And what, pray tell, makes Ralph Nader a "real choice" but Al Gore NOT a "real choice"? And how the **** is the Green Party the "party of the people"?

I don't really mind too much if Nader runs again though. No one will ever vote for him again, aside from a few college kids who wouldn't vote at all if he wasn't running. Besides, none of the likely Republican alternatives in 2008 are even close to being as awful as Bush.
