Myers Briggs Test

INTJ- it's pretty consistent with how I would describe myself.

Hey, folks. I'm curious what personality type folks on here have. If you've never taken the Myer Briggs test, here's one online version: Personality test based on C. Jung and I. Briggs Myers type theory

I myself am an INTP. I'd do a poll, but there's a max of 10 options, whereas there are 16 personality types.

Knowing one's personality type is pretty important to a happy life. I'm not sure quantifying it with a test is as important as realizing a few unpleasant (sometimes) truths about one's self.

Example: I'm a control freak. I know that. It's important for me to manage the "what-if's" in my life -- or I will spend worthless time fretting about them. Because I know that about myself, I realistically think about the what-ifs, and then plan accordingly. I sleep like a baby. ;)

If one is laid back and happy? Then all's good. If one's laid back and feels put upon? Then one must realize that about themselves and work at being more assertive. About saying "no" to people when you want to instead of going through life doing all sorts of things you don't want to do.

Taking a personality test is interesting; but unless one embraces the results? It's all for naught.

I agree. We should shape our actions to best deal with our shortcomings. What's your personality type, though?
