While I believe he was a victim of a guilt by association ploy lead mostly by the right wing hysteria team, and that he is a much less reckless candidate for the oval office, it still doesn't change the fact that nearly every time Obama takes a bold, new approach to a subject, he too often changes his opinion just to satisfy a group or popular demand (take his reversal on Israel, for example. Went from backbone to spineless in less than 2 weeks, with potential consequences outlined here )
He has kept the same old policies on Afghanistan wanting to expand the war into Pakistan, a devastating decision to say the least. He's a king of bait and switch and he doesn't even seem to know how to take his own advice on the current US debacles in the Middle east that are Iraq, and Afghanistan promising to 'stay the course' is silly. I thought you were new politics?
In fact, he re-assured many of the long held and foolish policies of the United States such as continuing the Cuba Embargo and backing the Israeli lobby no matter the cost
Its to bad he could be more like his capitalist half brother
