This is so ridiculous that I don't know what your talking about , scum bag hasn't had one good idea since he came into office, . If your talking about his stupid wall then the Democrats are only doing what this country wants . They don't want a wall.

I'm pointing out that a gun makes everyone equal. A gun allows a 5' tall, 100 woman to have the ability to defend herself against an attacker that's 2-3 times her size.

Exactly how many Americans do not want more border barriers built? 75%? 60%? 25%? Are these people all socialist democrats wanting the Constitution changed?

There is no socialism in this country, only with your make believe definition that each and every one of you from your hate group makes up. You just showing your ignorance. The majority of this country doesn't want the stupid wall, that's all that matters , live with it,. Democrats would be nuts to capitulate with these hair-brains on this senseless wall. Every day scum bag closes the government again will be just that many more people who will give up on your hate group. Your premise is flawed straight out of the gate. America is a Republic and a representative democracy. America has spoken-in 2016- and it said it wanted Trump to be elected President to enact his agenda, and towards the top of his list was the "wall".
You are in fact, arguing FOR a dictatorship by thwarting the will of the people.
Elections have consequences when a Republican wins, you know. Not just Obama.

Get yourself electable candidates for 2020 and we'll see what happens. Until then, you don't get to undo the results of a fair and legitimate election to overthrow a duly-elected President..

OK. Back to the question. How many Americans do not want any sections of wall built along the border with Mexico, 50.03%?
 
Near as I can tell, even this negotiating effort is a facade. Any real effort to gain funding for the Wall would be through Appropriations and you don't get that done in 21, now 17 days. I suspect that even a Dem bid to add new border technology funding to a CR without wall funding will fail. They could get it out of the House and unless the GOP is truly desperate to avoid both Shutdown and National Emergency (chance of succeeding slim to none) it will die in the Senate just as a GOP House majority got a Bill through the 115th House that died in the 115th Senate.

This is all Trump and the GOP's fault. Sorry....Trumpets and GOP fans. There is simply no way around having not gotten their ducks in a row during Trump's first two years. I don't even care WHY they didn't get their ducks in a row any longer. THEY DIDN'T. Trump didn't and Hill Republicans didn't.

National Emergency is just a continuation of a nasty fight over a campaign fantasy. This is without doubt the most idiotic, useless, bombastically ignorant and self-aggrandizing Presidency and Administration of my lifetime bar none, far exceeding the second worst Presidency of my lifetime, that of Barrack Obama.

One piece of sensibility works its way into the DC negotiations. Dems announce there will be no effort to include a DACA fix in this Border Security effort. Saw one of the younger Cable News Anchor's this morning reporting the decision and she looked like she had been shot through the head....."huh". Yes dearie, lets make a deal legislation is crap legislation. Its about time!

Excuse me but my understanding is that Trump did not shut down the government. The President does not have that authority. The government was shut down because the House and Senate can't agree on a budget. Trump threatened to veto a budget that didn't include funding for his wall, but if Congress could simply agree on a veto-proof bill then none of this would be an issue.
