MY Clinton email problem

With the earth shaking revelation yesterday from FBI Director Comey that he has some emails from somebody associated with Hillary Clinton I went through some of my own email records. I discovered an email from somebody who worked for somebody who knew somebody who once was in a restaurant where Hillary Clinton was supposed to have stopped to use the rest room on a campaign swing in 2008. The email mentions the Cinton incident and even quotes Clinton apologizing for "stinking up the place". I imagine the Trump campaign could use that admission against her. It very possibly could swing the election.

As a patriot who wants the American people to have all the information necessary to make a good decision in the current election, should I notify the FBI and turn over the email so that they announce it to the public while they determine if it is of a significant nature and even warrants anything beyond them most cursory glance?

No. Absolutely DON'T notify the FBI about that email. But if you could change your story up a bit and claim Hillary Clinton molested you, it'd be helpful...

If this email is somehow relevant to an ongoing FBI criminal investigation, then, yes, turn it over,

If you meant this as a humorous way to discredit the FBI rationale for re-opening the original email case against Hillary by acting like the reason was invalid? You certainly missed the point. :roll:

This is not some fourth hand source with no credible connection to Hillary Clinton. This is the husband of Hillary's right-hand aide, and the emails are from this aide apparently containing primary source materials showing Clinton lied about knowledge of the security clearance levels of emails on her unsecured private server.

That people without either proper clearance or a need to know (including a disgraced former Congressman) retained such information on their unsecured systems. That Hillary's aides also lied about this.

So, yeah...if your third cousin twice-removed had a friend who forwarded classified information via emails through five unsecured channels where no one had clearance and need to know? It would be important evidence sufficient to reopen a criminal investigation and should be reported. :coffeepap:

Legitimate action? Can you tell us what was legitimate about the director of the FBI releasing a statement about emails that he admitted he has no idea as to their significance when the man is intelligent enough to understand that him doing so could possible impact if not change a national election less than two weeks away?

Tell me what is legitimate about that.

He then testified before Congress that if new information "that was both relevant and substantial" arose, he would re-open the investigation.

Why should he not report that he has re-opened the investigation?

I have two simple questions for you

1- Is Comey a smart man who in all likelihood understood that he wasting off a bomb in the closing days of a charged political campaign with this very public revelation?

2- Why would he do this if did not yet know if he had nothing of significance to offer in these emails?

...and somehow lost in all this partisan-political angst is the core issue of the cavalier mishandling of Classified materials and information.

It isn't about the emails, boys and girls.
It's what was IN them.

Rest assured, if I (or any of my fellow team-mates who work for the government) sent or received Classified materials via a non-SIPR-Net email server, we would be under the jail by now.

And just when we had all concluded that Hillary was above the law, and was smugly assuming that laws do not apply to her, this happens.

Maybe there will be justice after all.

The way these emails are being portrayed, the headlines would read. "New Email Revealed: Clinton Was Going to Meet Democratic Operative in a secret bathroom in 2008."

The letter doesn't say that the investigation is reopen.

Hmmm, really risky to contact the government. There are always those guys in trenchcoats from CHIcago and the black helicopters are still out there somewhere. But I think I might be able to come up with the telephone number to a Russian embassy or something. . . .
