How could one stay "upbeat" when imagining four more years of this disaster? This is one of the worst presidential performances we've ever seen, who wants an encore.

Too early to tell. We wont know who won until after election day.
 
If Trump holds on and "wins" - five reasons

1- widespread Republican voter suppression robs tens of millions of their right and ability to vote
2- the Deplorable are as dumb as a bag of rocks
3- racists will vote for a racist to have one of their own in the office
4 -conservatives who vote Trump would rather vote for that bag of rocks
5- the single greatest robbery in the history of the USA

Better check the L to P ratio bfefore posting that silly claim. Mr. P's L to P is about 57%. Yours is one on the lowest here at DP with a paltry 11%. That's a major :failpail: on your part , Robert.

I don’t want to hear my own damned opinions for 47 minutes let alone someone else’s. Especially not on a gorgeous Sunday when there is bbq’ed food, beer and my swimming pool waiting for me.
 
I wish I was devoid of thought and had to rely on random people on the internet to tell me what to think about things. Would be a much easier life for sure.
 
I see little oppurtinity for Trump to regain mementum now. The mismanaged pandemic, shrinking economy, and social unrest have created a vacume of leadership from the WH. Trumps lies about the pandemic soon to be over, make him look foolish. The GOP would do best to concentrate on the Senate. The WH is gone.
