I hope people post positive things about SgtRock bringing this to our attention as much as people post negative things in other threads of his. Good find.

And I agree, this is good news and what needs to happen.

That is great as well, but I think this has a larger impact on the global perspective of Islamic culture. When the people of the Muslim cultural centers of the world - people who may not have a political reputation to uphold, who may not have much experience with the more secular world outside of their borders - say "this is not who we are," it speaks of the core of the Muslim community, I think. The Joe Sixpacks of the Islamic world, as it were.

Thanks Capt. as you know I have been saying this needs to take place all along. And I have been looking for this type of story for years. Talk about hope, this story should be on every news broadcast and on the the front page of every paper worldwide.

It squares up just fine since the majority of muslims do not take every passage of the Quran and Hadiths literally. Just as most christians do not take every passage in the bible literally.

Unfortunately to many islamic fundimentalist extreamist that you tend to defend on a regular basis do take the book literally. Those are the animals that need to be exterminated with extreme prejudice, wraped in swines skin and chucked in a hole.

Yes, in fact the last time was earlier this year in Farmers Branch Texas. It was a protest against illegal immigration.

Exactly so. So would you agree that since the majority of Muslims do not take the violent passages of the Quran literally just like Christians don't take violent passages of the Bible literally, that painting the whole of Islam as a religion of evil is no more valid that doing the same for Christianity?

Sorry I don't defend fundamentalist extremists of any stripe, whatever their relgion.

This is really heartening! We've been relentless in pummeling the Muslim majority for not talking a loud public stand against terrorism... and that's exactly what was done here.

If I said this about U.S. soldiers or religious zealots in the U.S. that preach hate, I would recieve an infraction.

If he is free to say this, I would ask the freedom to say that I think that many posters here would deserve simmilar fates. For praising the murder of inocents, and justifying it behind your own violent and radical ideology.
 

Excuse me, I am refering to jihadist who saw peoples heads off while there alive. Send women with downs syndrome straped with bombs into crowded market places to target innocent women and children. 99.9% of American troops serve with honor and do everything they can to avoid harming civilians. The animals I am refering to are attempting to kill as many innocent civilians as possible, can you see the difference? If not then Im afraid you are to far along into your indoctrination, what school do you attend?
