Fact is there are still a lot of slaves in Islamic countries. Saudi Arabia for one. Qatar and others. Proof? It comes out once in a while but no one in the West has the balls to call them on it.

As you can see the slaves were bought, not hunted, by Europeans. As far as your Ashanti links it says nothing about slaves being Muslim.

Obviously you missed the part when they mentioned African societies often blended their past beliefs with new religions.

Well yeah, the Islamic empire would have been closer to Africa and also had the wealth for slaves. But the Romans and Greeks had slaves long before the Arabs. The Europeans however were the first to industrialize it. They most likely were not forcibly converted because as I said before one of the principles of Islam is liberating fellow Muslims form bondage. However it would have been a great way to get a group to peacefully convert to Islam, giving them a choice between slavery of conversion.

Racial violence still exists today, ever heard of the war in Sudan that started in 2003 and is still going on? Hundreds of thousands of blacks have been killed by Arab leaders during the ethnic cleansing of the past 13 years. Some estimates put the number of dead at 700,000.
Odd that the media, Hollywood, and Obama don't care about 700,000 dead black people, isn't it? Guess there's no money in it for them.

No they were not. Unless you can find permission to toture and kill in Christian doctrine. That is a case where a religion is highjacked by power hungry people. In Islam power and killing are permitted as long as it advances Islam.

Orwell called himself a democratic socialist, which isn't the same as a socialist.

In 1984, he describes a world where all former individual nations are squeezed into 3 totalitarian super states. He practically predicted the European Union. I'm guessing he'd of supported Brexit, since he wouldn't have supported the UK joining the EU to begin with.

Actually a lot of them converted for economic reasons, trade with the Islamic empire was big business. Actually the king of the area that is now Mali travelled for pilgrimage to Mecca and on his way caused runaway inflation because of all the gold he spent and gave. Same goes for place like Indonesia and Malaysia.

Well there are two problems with that, the EU is not a superstate nor totalitarian. The EU has actually been a champion of human rights and freedoms including privacy rights.
