Muscovite special forces on Norwegian soil, whats putler´s plan? attack on NATO member or Oil facilities provocation? much like on KSA´s Oil facilities . is your home- country ready to fight if putler invades it ?

"Tactical groups of Russian special forces have been operating on Norwegian soil in recent days, both in Svalbard and mainland Norway. Special Forces Operators have performed reconnaissance against key objects and critical infrastructure. The operators have also deployed technical monitoring systems and sensor platforms."

Looking at the article, it looks like typical spying for the most part. When Russian agents in Norway get caught spying, they're deported. It seems there has been a lot of spying recently.

The article talks about "Svalbard". I guess that's a province? It probably has a border with Russia. Russians are sending military patrols there for some reason, not respecting Norwegian sovereignty over the place.

Par for the course, for Moscow.

Asiatic despotic Maskali play the hard ball with Norway , its for sure. I´d recommend Norwegians to buy AIP submarines (which juchi mongols dont have) as soon as possible , Norwegians do have cash you know

Norway accuses Russia of jamming its military systems

"Tactical groups of the Russian special forces have reportedly been spotted in Norwegian territory, operating both in Svalbard and on the mainland. Russian special forces were doing reconnaissance of key facilities and critical infrastructure, the Norwegian publication AldriMer reported, citing four independent sources in the field of defense and intelligence from three different countries.

It says the information is based on data from intelligence services of Norway's allies, including pictured taken from U.S. reconnaissance aircraft. The documents show, among other things, the special forces can be directly related to Russian military drills in the Barents Sea. In addition, the Northern Fleet of the Russian Federation has mobilized at least one P-650 special-purpose midget submarine, which is designed to covertly deploy special forces. According to AldriMer's sources, in addition to the operation in Svalbard, reconnaissance missions were also conducted on mainland Norway, but the Russian military were said to be operating under the guise of civilians there.

Life imitating art. I just finished binge watching a Netflix import from Norway called Occupied which is about this very subject

Dying to see what Season 3 brings.

I love the Russian ambassador’s character. That is not a woman you want to mess with.
this is how they look like in reality

Lol. Yeah. The actress, who’s Lithuanian, is stunningly beautiful but I wasn’t talking about that - well not really anyway. The character is smart, has scruples but is tough as nails.

Svalbard is an archipelago province

Russian spies in civvies in Norway are well known for driving Toyota SUVs with Russian license plates, according to Norwegian security services. They also arrive by Russian fishing boats ha.

The US has shared visuals of the Russian forces in Norway with the Norwegian government that have been taken by the high altitude U-2S Dragon Lady intelligence aircraft among other US and Nato intelligence assets.

A Bing translation of the lengthy and detailed piece in the Norwegian newspaper Aldrimer No....

According to Aldrimer, important parts of the intelligence that have uncovered the insertion of Russian special forces and paramilitary personnel on Norwegian soil are collected by US reconnaissance aircraft of the U-2S "Dragon Lady" and RC-135V "Rivet Joint".

US reconnaissance aircraft have been upgrading and modernized many of their sensor packages in recent months, i.e. technical systems for monitoring and obtaining a single direction. This applies, inter alia, the U-2S (pictured), which flys by the US Air Force on assignment for the CIA. Here is a U-2S about to land at the RAF base in Fairford, UK 9 June 2015. Photo: JARAD A. A significant part of Russia's intelligence activities aimed at Norway is carried out by Russian intelligence personnel under diplomatic cover at the Russian Embassy in Oslo. But intelligence personnel are also sent into Norway for shorter or longer periods of time. The latter is especially true in northern Norway, where the main responsibility for Russian intelligence efforts aimed at Norway is sorted under the FSB in Murmansk, while the responsibility for regular retrieval from Trøndelag and South sorts under the FSB-resident of the Russian Embassy in Oslo.

It is well known that the Russian personnel have a penchant for driving SUV's of the brand Toyota. This is especially true for personnel who come across the border with their own car. "Often these are not so careful to hide who they are and drive cars with Russian registration plates," informs a HV officer. Other times, rental cars from other Nordic countries are used.

Reminds me of the one about American, Chinese and Russian intelligence operatives who show up at a popular beach to assess an amphibious landing. The CIA guys show up in suits with blue ties, shoes, shades, ear piece with cord. The Chinese show up in t-shirts and jeans talking into their cell phones and each carries off one grain of sand. The Russians show up with dozens of heavy equipment and start moving earth and digging.

that's why she is so unrealistic for this role

The President of Russia's name is spelled "Putin." I can't see reason to debate with someone over Putin who can't even spell his name.

seriously you are a fantasist ... Norwegian Military said it didn't happen on Sky TV on Tuesday night and that it was a story made up by Norwegian media .. the fact is Russia is having military drills near by

Svalbard is an island well to the North of Europe. It shares no border with Russia

yes with the spacial status , which putler uses to his advantage much like ussr did during the cold war

Meh. A tempest in a teacup as usual for our Lithuanian alarmist. There have been large numbers of Russians on the Spitsbergen/Svalbard Archipelago since the late 19th century and at its peak during the Cold War, two-thirds of the archipelago's population was of Russian or Ukranian birth, working in or supporting the three major mining operations run by the USSR there. With the closure of two of the mines, the Russian population has dropped to about 450 souls and I am sure that there are some Russian spies and military there acting as security personnel.

There's not much that Norway can do about this because the treaty which gave the archipelago to Norway also made the archipelago a demilitarised zone an guaranteed Russian access and settlement to the islands. So despite Litwin's sabre rattling there is no legal way to expel the Russians.

They Norwegians might consider moving the seed bank however.

Cheers.
Evilroddy.

question to you putlerist,

"military " do they allow to do so ? according the intentional law?
