Translated from German to English:

In the case of the 13-year-old girl killed in Vienna, the 4th suspect, who had been on the run until the end, was caught. As the "Kronen Zeitung" first reported and the Viennese police also confirmed to PULS 24, he was arrested in London, Great Britain. According to the police, it is a 22-year-old Afghan. He was wanted by a European arrest warrant. The Afghan is said to have been tracked down by Austrian target investigators.

Three other Afghan suspects are already in custody in Austria. The 13-year-old Leonie from Tulln was found dead on June 26th on a green strip in Vienna-Donaustadt. Most recently, an expert opinion revealed that all suspects are of legal age. According to the Vienna Public Prosecutor's Office, an allegedly 16-year-old is "at least 18, possibly 20 years old".

The girl is said to have been given drugs and the suspects are charged with "serious criminal acts against sexual integrity".

Good to see for her parents that all 4 gang-rapefugee & murder suspects are now caught.

Hopefully they will serve long sentences (but „long“ is relative in Austria, they will get 10 years max.) and then be deported quickly back to Afghanistan.

Being deported back to Afghanistan will be the best punishment possible (since Austria apparently does not have capital punishment).

Sadly, they will only be deported back to Afghanistan after being convicted and served their 10-year sentences for a brutal gang-rape & murder of a child.

They exploited our country from the start: by sneaking into the country and lying about their ages, by doing drugs, by not integrating, not learning proper German, not getting a job, getting a subsidized apartment, getting state benefits and case workers and then raping & killing this young girl. And now, we taxpayers have to feed these fu##ers through in our prison for the next 10 years, pay their court fines and their eventual deportation.

These are not the rocket scientists, surgeons etc. that Merkel promised us in 2015 ...

On another note, illegal immigration from Afghanistan to Austria (and therefore remaining Europe) has picked up significantly in the past few months:

Since the start of 2021, a total of 16.000 illegal border crossings happened in Austria (most at the Burgenland-Hungary border, most by young male Afghans).

In US-terms, that would be 600.000 illegal border crossings in the first half of the year (100.000 per month). The US has averaged 150.000 a month this year, so it’s a bit lower here. But it was much higher here in 2015-16, with 90.000 in 2015, which would be 3.6 million in US-terms, or 300.000 per month.

The Conservative-Green government sent 400 more police and soldiers to the Hungary border.

Deepest sympathies to your country.

Hope that Austria can quickly (and humanely, of course) either return those interlopers to their homeland or sent them on to countries that welcome immigrants.

I have read that Austria, the Czech Republic, & Hungary are working hard to maintain their culturally homogeneous society.

Best of luck to them.

It is a double-edged sword:

The Afghans want mostly to go to Germany, followed by Sweden/Austria/UK. Because they heard they get almost everything for free here once they say „asylum“. They expect fried chicken hanging on trees here and milk and honey streaming in rivers here.

The truth is different: our labour market is strained and impossible to admit thousands of Afghan illiterates.

Austria sends more forces to the border, resulting in more illegal border apprehensions. Usually, most would pass through the country to Germany/north without being detected, so we are basically doing the job for Germany, Sweden by limiting the flow north ...

We are a small country, Syria and Afghanistan are not far away and if millions of war/economic refugees come marching, there’s nothing we can do.

Besides this scary scenario, unlike Czechia & Hungary, Austria is not culturally homogeneous anymore. Not since a long time already. We have a 26% foreign born population, even slightly higher than the classical immigrant country USA. The US naturalized way more people though, and much quicker.

I did not know that.

My deepest sympathies.

In the capital Vienna, 55% currently have a migrant background (one or both parents born abroad).

Some Vienna districts like the 15th have 70% or more.

Many elementary school classes in those districts don’t have a single Austrian student left.

The Austrian countryside is much more homogeneous though: In western Austria, you will find a lot of Germans and Dutch who are culturally similar to us.

In rural Lower Austria or Styria, you have districts with only 4% migrant background.

having a non homogeneous state isn't a tragedy...crimes can be perpetrated by anyone....Austria exported the worst human in the entire world...Adolph Hitler.

why does Austria only have a max of ten years in prison?

No, we also have life imprisonment (typically a 20-25 year sentence, after which psychologists re-evaluate the sentence. The convicted then either is released, or continues to be imprisoned for as long as several psychologists deem him/her a threat to the public).

The thing here is that Austria has juvenile sentencing laws that go until 21 years. You are treated as an adult only after 21 in criminal law.

The Afghans suspected of gang-raping her are mostly below 21, if you can trust their age. That’s why medical examinations are now used to determine their real age. They often lie about their age to get more benefits.

A gang-rape resulting in death of the victim carries a maximum „young adult“ sentence of 10 years.

Definitely not a tragedy, it depends how such a state is administered.

It can be heterogenous and well-working too, if the immigrants mostly adopt to the new countries values.

Problem is we get a lot of people recently from culturally backwards regions like Afghanistan, where many are illiterate and have a patriarchal view of everything (women/gays/Jews/Christians).

so, double jeopardy....we don't do things that way here...a jury determines your guilt or innocence and our laws determine your sentence and a judge hands down that sentence and you serve it. There is no evaluation to determine to just let a person stay in prison for life, just because some evaluator determined so.

after a generation or two that always changes....people complained to the heavens about the Irish and the Italians and how horrible their immigration was to the US...most didn't speak English the way we do...Irish weren't considered white nor were Italians..yet, they somehow still became Americans...the same with Mexicans....my daughter, try as I may have cannot speak Spanish..(I am not an immigrant, but her father was) she cannot speak my tribal language either...she speaks English and understands a bit of both the tribal language and a bit more Spanish....but she looks very non white...I have a friend who is originally from Iran...his wife wears Calvin Klein jeans and while she still does wear a scarf over her head and drink tea...she also eats ham and loves it...so does her husband...he said bacon is delicious and he is sorry that he is a bad muslim....but he is still eating bacon...and drinking a good whiskey.. so, time changes things...education does as well...

Neither the US system or ours is perfect:

If a person serves a „life sentence“ here, then a few psychologists call for a release („no threat anymore“) and continues to kill, it sucks.

In the US, you get life and it means life.

On the other hand, several US states also have capital punishment, where there’s always the risk of executing an innocent and evidence is out there that many innocent have been executed so far ...

which is why I am against the death penalty unless there is unrefutably enough evidence the person is guilty of the crime...for instance video of them killing someone or direct DNA evidence that shows they did it.

This maybe works better in the US than here (or not).

The US also seems to suffer a collossal damage right now from immigration, in combination with guns and poverty.

Also, a „generation or two“ might be too long for many Austrians or Americans: since immigration spiked in 2015 from areas far away and culturally incompatible, a lot of our girls and women and elder people have been killed and raped and maimed by imported crime from Syria, Afghanistan, etc. - crimes that could have been prevented.

Police has released surveillance footage of the Kagran/Donaustadt subway station at around 2am, showing the 4 Afghan suspects with the 13-year old girl:

They then went to the apartment of one of them, where they drugged the girl with 11 Ecstasy pills in drinks and then, maybe for hours, gang-raped her. She was found at around 7am.

Also, the extradition of the 4th suspect caught in England will take weeks, due to Brexit.

Also, the attorney for the girl’s family, will sue the Republic of Austria for gross negligence and incompetence in deporting at least 3 of the 4 suspects, because their asylum status was revoked due to previous crimes - yet they were still in the country. The authorities were not processing their appeals fast enough, due to staff problems. Such appeals should be decided in days, not several years !

Wow, I had no idea Austria had so many Afghan refugees considering the huge distance.

It's time for Western countries to realize that some nationalities do a better job assimilating than others. That's not being racist, it's just a realistic assessment that cultures are different and some have more in common than others.

I think in the US, we are quite lucky to border on Latin America...our immigrants tend to come from countries that are also European offshoots that share similar languages and religious customs.

Yes.

Afghans (almost all of them young males) here are 10x more likely to be sex offenders than Austrians and even 3-4x more likely than other immigrants from such regions like Africa or Eastern Europe etc.

There is a certain problem with immigrants from the Middle-East, because hardly any women refugees are coming. And the young males that are coming have a worldview from the Middle Ages, resulting in imported crime that no voter here would ever tolerate. If such crime trends are obvious, the solution is to keep them out.
