Crime took place Jan. 6, 2007.



There was very little LSMSM news on this horrific crime, I will not post the details, you will have to go read about the torture deaths of these two fine looking young people.

If Christian and Newsom had been black, and they had been raped, tortured, and murdered by a group of white people, the victims’ names would be painfully seared into the national psyche by the media’s saturation coverage of the atrocities and their aftermath.

The reason the case attracted so little media attention was because Christian and Newsom were white.

There's no controversy. Virtually, everyone who reads about this says, "Wow! That's horrific." There's no controversy here. It's awful. There's not another side.

One of the various things which made the martin zimmerman case interesting was that it had a certain amount of ambiguity. People could take sides. In a case like the one you're referencing, it's just horrible. There's no "other side" per se. There's just the shock and disgust.

The only difference between the case above the the George Zimmerman trial was Zimmerman successfully fought back. Why that was controversial is beyond me, unless reverse racism is the motivation. The Zimmerman trial did prove one thing, no black man can ever be killed without race being assumed to be the primary issue.

The main difference is that their rapists and murderers were apprehended, tried and found guilty. There was never a question that the two white kids would receive the best that the justice system had to offer. They received it, and now at least one of their murderers will die for his crime.

Trayvon Martin's killer is a free man. IMO Sharpton et al are right to scrutinize cases like his, and the proof is that Zimmerman did, in fact, get away with it.

Knoxville-area television stations and newspapers have covered the story heavily since the bodies were found. On the national media level, The Associated Press and MSNBC reported on the murders shortly after they occurred. But starting in April, a loud and growing throng of white supremacists began protesting what they call a conspiratorial media blackout, owing, they claim, to the fact that Newsom and Christian were white and their alleged killers black.

The point is that a significant number other people looked at it and saw the same narrative as you AND a significant number other people looked at it and saw a narrative much different than that.
That's not happening here. There is no large number of people looking at this and seeing anything but something heinous.

Why that was controversial is beyond me, unless reverse racism is the motivation.

Even though you cannot figure out how someone could see it differently than you do, you at least realize that quite a number of people saw it differently.
With this story, there's not a significant number of people who see this as anything but horrific. That's the difference.
This is unambiguously horrible and evil.

Both crimes involved the death of people. One, the deaths of Christian and Newsome was a blatant hateful racial incident, the other the death of Trayvon Martin was self defense. In one case the racial crime was hidden and obfuscated. In the other racial hatred was fanned and incited by race hustling whores.

I guess you're missing the point. This case was adjudicated several years ago. The point being made is simple and to the point. The race hustling whores of the Progressive Left cry havoc when there is a justifiable Self Defense case, like Martin/Zimmerman, yet shut up tighter than a clam when things Christian/Newsome, or Arnold/Whitehead incidents occur. No one has forgotten. Although one must consider that the evidence found in the investigation of the murders of Christian/Newsome was akin to the evidence collected in and found in al Qaeda torture rooms. Do you really believe this was a car jacking incident?
