Multiple boats in distress sinking at the Trump boat parade

Unless in a harbor area, and unless boaters keep speeds at a very slow pace with lots of distance between other boats and NO crisscrossing; these large boating events can generate a lot of swells and rough water very quickly, and the first boats that will begin to get into distress are the small craft often already overloaded with people. Doesn't take too many large wakes to wash over a small boat and swamp it quickly.

Like the old saying goes, "safe boating is no accident".

At around 2:50 p.m. the TCSO confirmed the calls made about boats being in distress at the parade, they also confirmed that several boats sank on the lake.

There have been numerous boat parades for Trump with thousands of boats. None sank but, you probably never saw then because they did not sink and that is not negative news for the mainstream media to work people up over. Last I heard about Lake Travis is that they had hundreds of boats in Trump boat parade and that the "multiple" boats at Lake Travis were actually 4 boats swamped, all recovered and no one injured. But of course "multiple boats sink" is a better click bait.

It appears a fewTRUMP THE RUMP boaters had no idea what they were getting themselves into = just another day at a rough water lake in boats that should not be in rough water = just like not planning for COVID 19

Trump followers need a brain cell check to understand why obscene and vulgar white boys are an attraction that lead them into rough waters at the expense of their boats. DUMB DUMB DUMB.

Next Trump will say go jump off a cliff into a raging river with crocodiles for him and off they go .......

What you need to watch is even just the first video I posted. Almost 2000 boats, none sank. Big news for 4 swamped boats, none about multiple thousands over several places. But that's OK if you prefer to focus on the negative, you are in good company with the lefts media. Apathy abounds.

A bunch of indignant conservatives acted like some sort of tragedy took place at Lake Travis. Most of the sarcasm was aimed at them. Nobody got hurt, nobody died. Everybody enjoyed the day. Just put out your on fire hair.


You'll have to admit though, "Dumbkirk" is a priceless hashtag for the parades. :mrgreen:
