Nader donated to private groups that supported Clinton in the election by means through which he attempted to conceal the identity of the funds (himself and who he represented). Clinton's campaign never received any money from Nader, nor did Clinton ever interact with Nader.

By contrast, Nader met with Trump, and was ingratiated to such an extent that he became a witness in the Mueller investigation.
