This is big! As you may be aware, I have a working theory that Matt Whitaker is a criminal informant and double agent inside the Trump Administration. I believe he is spying on Trump for Mueller. While acting like he is spying on Mueller for Trump. I believe that he made a deal with Rod Rosenstein and Mueller and perhaps Jeff Sessions too. No Jail time for his role in World Patent Marketing, the fraudulent investment scheme that is currently, "under investigation by the FBI."
There's been lots of chatter about Whitaker in the news recently.
First Yesterday there was some confusion about Whitaker's clearance and even his standing role within the WH. Does he oversee the Mueller investigation or not? Was he cleared by a DOJ ethics investigation or not? The answer as it stands now is that we still don't actually know, and the information pisses off everyone no matter what side of the aisle you fall on.
1. If you believe one report then you have lost all faith in the DOJ and intelligence agencies. As a leftist you feel betrayed that the system sucks this much to allow a guy such as Whitaker to stay at his job.
2. If you believe the second report (came out five hours later) that the DOJ told Whitaker he should recuse himself, but didn't. As a righty it's all the confirmation you need that the DOJ is out to get Trump and that Whitaker did a good thing by standing up to the Deep State.
Why is this important? Couldn't it be true that the Washington Post just messed up? Well Yes. Except if you take the post at it's word, someone in the intelligence community changed the story within those five hours. This could all boil down to a classic CIA media propaganda scheme. Now, I do not use this scenario lightly around here. But it is entirely possible that Mueller is directing the intelligence agencies to use the media against Trump. Oddly, Trump himself has not made this charge.
This may be the clearest operation that I could detect. (Not some right wing fantasy about media bias) Actual calculated media manipulation in all it's glory. It certainly would clear up any of the confusion and calm everybody down who is following this Whitaker mess.
Now you get this new report that shows Trump basically doing the same thing he did to Whitaker as he did to Jeff Sessions. He wants Whitaker to be involved in the Cohen Probe and it's been shown he has talked to Whitaker about investigations involving himself. He is upset and acting out irrationally. The DOJ is not responding to the story and Whitaker maintains he has a "great relationship," with Trump.
Jeff Sessions may be a key player in this whole thing, because we do not know his relationship with Rosenstein and Mueller. Is Sessions just sitting back and enjoying life or did he put the whole thing together? What did Sessions tell them?
None of this speculation proves my theory, but none of it disproves it either.
