I know everyone bends the truth, on television and in life. I watch Fox because they bend it less. I used to watch "Morning Joe" because they were interesting and serious, but the propaganda load became too heavy. Now I watch CBS in the morning.
I believe YOU believe that and I believe that other liberals believe that - which is why liberal government always knows better what people need than anyone else. It's what leads to totalitarianism. The poor stupid people don't know what's best but we, the most intelligent liberals who do not need anyone telling US because WE know better because we're smarter, do know. The arrogance and morose ineptness of MSNBC however do not prove out your hypothesis.Speaking in general terms (beyond the particular list of MSNBC 'talent'), I would agree that the left is too intelligent to be taken in by the crude caricature of journalism that talk media typically presents.
This does not reflect well on the right who apparently is not.
It's time the media is controlled by the government, don't you think Komrade?Which all ties in to the fruitless nature of the OP, and how it is ultimately a fail (left wing talk media fails because the left is too intelligent to be taken in by it, unlike the eager acceptance of right wing talk media by the clueless right).
And here is the second "they all suck" liberal response... At least Jet won't fell all alone anymore.
It's the only acceptable hip posture.
Bend it less? You're kidding right? They have been caught more than any other biased cable station.
Relax, Grim's skivvies get all bunched up when anyone criticizes Fox News and you saying they all suck is doing just that. They do all suck. They all tell their own stories, not what is really truth. They are all a joke.
I've found that Conservatives have the short memory on history. Ask who the worst President in history is and you get "Obama" because they can't remember anyone before Clinton.
But I'm not sure I get what your point was. Is this the usual con chest-beating?
Caught by whom?Bend it less? You're kidding right? They have been caught more than any other biased cable station
heh heh
But it does help cut down on that time consuming thinking nonsense.
I think you're indulging in some wishful thinking, but it doesn't really matter because MSNBC will never bring back KO. And by 2016 MSNBC may very well be out of business or completely reformatted.
It used to be Carter - but Obama makes Carter's ineptness and weakness look feeble and childlike. Bill actually was a good President - if he could just control his zipper he'd have been one of the better in the 20th century.
They do all suck. They all tell their own stories, not what is really truth. They are all a joke.
I always got the sense that Carter was sincere ... a screwball, to be sure, but sincere.
Obama is simply deceptive and dishonest and, yes, incredibly driven to remake the Country.
When it comes to political opinion shows, of course they see things from a partisan perspective that often times paints an incomplete story. When it comes to MSNBC, they inject political opinion and blatant bias into all their programming, while Fox News offers hard news programming that is as opinion free as you will find anywhere.
It is for that reason, that I fully expect the left to call them all a "Joke" whenever MSNBC or CNN is the target of criticism. Doing so however is a political strategy, not a reality.
Fox is the biggest joke of all. They have time and time again proven their bending the truth to feed into their conservative agenda. And the majority of their viewers are 65 plus.

Fox is merely the most scrutinized. No one looks closely at CNN or MSNBC because they don't matter. As for the age of viewers, ALL cable news networks have audiences with a median age of 60+.
[h=3]Half of Fox News' Viewers Are 68 and Older - The Atlantic[/h]www.theatlantic.com/.../01/...fox-news-viewers.../283385/The Atlantic
Jan 27, 2014 - Fox News is losing younger viewers at an even faster rate than its competitors. With a median viewer age now at 68 according to Nielsen data ... voted for the GOP presidential candidate by an average of 9 percentage points.
Fox feeds into the scare tactics because of the age of their viewers. I guess you could call that smart. As people get older they become Mohr fearful.
The good ol' "they all suck" response... I knew that one would be making an appearance asap.
What a blathering bunch of hooey.
Liberals are the most lemming-induced band of non-thinking codependents in the country. They think history began the day they were born, and their entire political opinion is based on a random song they heard from Green Day.
Liberals are Obama. Zero life experienced, zero personal success or ambition, and a life's worth of bitterness based on bad experiences in junior high school.

Is that an example of bending the truth ?

I have no doubt Keith is as entertaining as any other nut would be, and perhaps a little more so. It could be that he's not the average nut, but an exceptional one.
That those 65 and order aren't getting their news from Comedy Central ?
