MSM protecting Hillary from scandal taint

A former member of then- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's protective detail has been sentenced to a year in prison, extending the string of scandals that have engulfed the agency since Mrs. Clinton's tenure began. The diplomat had faced a possible 7 year term, but pleaded guilty, sparing the expense and delay of a trial and perhaps shortening his sentence. AP reports:

A former security officer with the State Department's Diplomatic Security Service has been sentenced to a year in prison for accepting gifts in exchange for helping a Jamaican musician gain a U.S. visa.

Thirty-three-year old David J. Rainsberger pleaded guilty earlier this year in federal court in Alexandria.​

Of course the perception the MSM and Hillary supporters want us to believe is that she's done a bang up job as Secretary of State of the United States of America. Truth be told, it's been a big incompetent screw up. Could anyone imagine the furor if Colin Powell, or Condoleezza Rice had caused so much damage?

I am not fan of Hillary Clinton, but blaming her for this is rediculous. How are the criminal actions of one, of thousands of, low or mid-level State Department personnel the fault of the Secretary Of State? Is the owner/coach of the New England Patriots responsible for the crimianl actions of Aaron Hernandez too?

I am not fan of Hillary Clinton, but blaming her for this is rediculous. Come on there have been many cover ups of pedophile Ambassadors and some who had penchants for prostitutes. Then there's those bad boy security detachments that can't seem to keep their private parts in their pants. These have recently come to the top of the cesspool called the State Department. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Until the massacre of Americans in Benghazi this was a well covered secret. I know because a divorcee I used to know told me about hair raising stories of sexual peccadillos with State Dept. personnel that occurred in Russia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Nam. Too bad Graham Greene died, we used to have great times messing with those St. Dept. wives.

WASHINGTON — A State Department whistleblower has accused high-ranking staff of a massive coverup — including keeping a lid on findings that members of then-Secretary Hillary Clinton’s security detail and the Belgian ambassador solicited prostitutes.

A chief investigator for the agency’s inspector general wrote a memo outlining eight cases that were derailed by senior officials, including one instance of interference by Clinton’s chief of staff, Cheryl Mills.

Any mention of the cases was removed from an IG report about problems within the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), which provides protection and investigates crimes involving any State Department workers overseas.

“It’s a coverup,” declared Cary Schulman, a lawyer representing the whistleblower, former State Department IG senior investigator Aurelia Fedenisn.“The whole agency is impaired.

“Undue influence . . . is coming from political appointees. It’s coming from above the criminal-investigation unit,” added Schulman, whose client provided the document with the revelations.

It's not the crime, it's always the coverups. Who would benefit beside those who committed the illegal acts by the coverup? Certainly we have found that there's been a big coverup in the Benghazi scandal.
