Aryan Imperium said:Where precisely in the text of Mein Kampf does Hitler refer to the Slavic peoples as Untermenschen? My copy of Mein Kampf is the Mannheim translation.
I look forward to your reply.
He was ok with "germanizing" austrian slavs, but not polish slavs. Seems that he thought there was a difference.Aryan Imperium said:Where precisely in the text of Mein Kampf does Hitler refer to the Slavic peoples as Untermenschen? My copy of Mein Kampf is the Mannheim translation.

Then why did he kill so many non-jews in Poland? Of course, he also had killed a lot of germans, in Germany, who were brave enough to be in defiance of his insane diatribes.Lucidthots said:Poland and its people were too considered Germans.
This NAZI postage stamp reads:
Danzig Ist Deutsch!

Come on, Danzig reference, anyone? Anyone?
What this all comes down to is this isn't a story, it's completely pointless. Russia's a HUGE country, and 10,000 people came out. To put this into perspective, this is 1/50th of one percent (.02%) of what Stalin killed. A kid burps in Russia and there are 10,000 people who are passionate about it, it doesn't mean crap.
George_Washington said:You guys that want to follow Hitler and want to think there's a superior race, let's look at Hitler himself:
1.) His grades were never that good in school. He never went to college. Hardly anybody was impressed with his artwork.
2.) He certainly did not have the physical body of an Aryan; he wasn't strong and he was short.
3.) He wasn't extremely handsome.
So what the frig was so superior about Hitler? Answer: nothing.
Ah...no, thanks. I believe I have my own mind about who to listen to in this free country. Neither Hitler nor Bush could make me condone atrocities.Lucidthots said:Especially the Conservative Republicans would love it.
Hitler said to the Germans all of the things Americans have been waiting for Bush to tell them.

Lucidthots said:Hitler Speeches were not about atrocities.
See, you have no idea what I am talnking about.
Go rent Triumph of the Will and listen to the Last Speech of that movie where Hitler tells the German people about his vision for a Thousand Year Reich....you will jumping out of your seat giving the National Salute and chanting Seig Heil!
The average American is not so easily duped by fancy speeches. We have lots of history to look back on that tells us that great orators are not always great leaders. Hitler is just one of those great failures.Lucidthots said:Hitler Speeches were not about atrocities.

The crowd goes wild!
And then Hess comes out,
"Hitler Ist Deutschland, und Deutschland Hitler Ist."
hiker said::rofl :rofl :rofl
You just have no idea at the humor I derived from that. I needed a good laugh. Thanks :2wave:
The german people did not grant power, they never had it. Hitler used thugs to control his meetings, and to disrupt the oppostions meetings. He killed opponents. He appealed to the ignorant masses with the idea that the problems of germany were not the fault of the germans, but the jews. It is called scapegoating. Every senior government official was guilty of some aspect of the WWII disaster by commission, or omission. Some were doing the criminal acts, others were turning a blind eye.Lucidthots said:See for yourself.
Go rent Triumph of the Will.
You will think NAZIsm is the greatest thing ever.
People trust their governments.
The Germans entrusted their government with power.
A small number of criminals betrayed their trust by committing criminal acts.
I do not hate America for the crimes of the Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush (41) Admin, Clinton, Bush administrations and so on.
I do not hate the German National movement because of the crimes of a few, who were granted power entrusted by the German people.

We will never see another situation like this, as the world is now a bit smarter about listening to meglomaniacs.
Perhaps you are more easily impressed by such things. I did not finish college, but I did attend long enough to have over 100 credit hours, and I learned to think during that time.Lucidthots said:I am afraid not.
50 years of brainwashing by the Jewish media vanishes within the first few minutes of a classic Hitler Speech.
The Hitler Tape release was fought by the Jewish groups.
I heard about it on the news and ended up purchasing it and was blown away.
Most of the speeches were from Triumph of the Will however the one I have includes some other really good short clips. The last one is my favorite.
"It is our wish and will, that this Reich will last into the future for a thousand years." Adolph Hitler
Hitler may have been the leader during that time, but he was hardly the cause of any of it. He drove out a major portion of the brainpower, and the Allies benefited from it. And they were never prosperous during his term. As far as technology goes, yes, they were smart, but who ended up with it? Like you said, with the reference to NASA. The USA put down 2 empires in the same time period, one german, one japanese. Looks like the USA was the most advanced and prosperous. We didn't do it alone, but the industrial might of the USA and its people supplied the majority of it.Lucidthots said:Ridiculous.
Germany became the worlds most technologically advanced and prosperous nation in the world under Hitler.
Ever heard of NASA?

What he did cause was the death and destruction of the german people, but then they deserved it. They voted him in. Germans are still smart people, so smart that they have made neo-nazi crap illegal in their country.
You can keep the dream alive, if you wish, but there are very few like you in the world dreaming about a failed past and hoping somehow that it can be born again and be successful the next time around. The KKK guys think the same thing about the confederacy, and that won't happen either.
Lucidthots said:It does exist in books on NAZI Racial Hygeine, however many, if not most of the people you see in Russia who identify a "Slavs" are really Teutonic people who adopted Slavik Culture centuries ago.
Slavs have an olive complexion and dark hair like (pre Aryan) aboriginal greeks.
George_Washington said:Along with other races who were competing against Germans for jobs in the 20's, Hitler viewed them as being inferior to the Aryan race and uncapable of ruling themselves. He formed his original views on the slavs while he was a struggling artist still living in Austria.
Consider this quote from, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich:
"Has not the Fuehrer repeatedly said that he wanted no Czechs in the Third Reich? Had he not in Mein Kampf and in countless public speeches reiterated the Nazi Thoery that a Germany, to be strong, must be racially pure and therefore must not take in foreign, and especially Slav, peoples?"
-Shirer, p. 429
I would suggest you re-read Mein Kampf and look at what he said about Slavs.
George_Washington said:It's not just Mein Kampf, he talked about the inferiority of the Slavs in public speeches, too.
UtahBill said:He was ok with "germanizing" austrian slavs, but not polish slavs. Seems that he thought there was a difference.
from http://www.historyplace.com/worldwar2/riseofhitler/kampf.htm
And so it follows in Hitler's thinking, if there is a supreme form of human, then there must be others less than supreme, the Untermenschen, or racially inferior. Hitler assigns this position to Jews and the Slavic peoples, notably the Czechs, Poles, and Russians.
He may have refrained from using the word slavs, but the slavic peoples he most certainly did include, per the quoted section above.
I am sure that if you look in your copy, you will find that he has made it clear who he thinks is inferior.
