Moscow Skyscraper Talks Continued Through ‘the Day I Won,’ Trump Is Said to Acknowledge

You might want to look up ‘ad hominem’.

Alright, if you don't like that, let me dumb it down for you....How about, snarkly attack me, or vitriolically attack me, or dishonestly attack me....etc....

The project wasn't started. It doesn't matter who talked to who about a project that never happened.

Take a mental time machine back to 2016.

If during that campaign, it came out that Donald J Trump was actively pursuing a business deal with Russian interests, looking to make deals with Banks under US sanction, all while running for President.... what do you think would have happened?

The project wasn’t just Cohen’s.

To suggest that the President didn’t know about a major ongoing deal with a foreign government that his company was working doesn’t speak well as to his skills in running the country.

And since you seem to know everything about it....Tell me, what was the deal they had....I'll wait...

LOL....You libs are funny people....

Best GDP in a decade
Lowest unemployment in history

If that's "running America into the ground" then I'm all for it....

What you don't understand is NONE of that is Trump! Any foool from the GOP could have done what he's done and done it better than he has. There are some adults in the room got you this far, but he's pretty much burned through those folks and nw we're really seeing what Trump is capable of, nearly nothing, and BTW, that economy is headed over the cliff, but um, OK. Doh!

A sugar high from a tax cut is always enough to fool the fools that make up the GOP base.

Or did the truth just hurt a little?

Why did Trump continue to LIE about the deal if it was so inconsequential. During a news conference in Jan 2017

The Letter of Intent link

After his former 'fixer', Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to multiple charges, Trump began to claim --
“I talked about it on the campaign trail,” Trump said, falsely, before adding that he “Lightly looked at doing a building somewhere in Russia.”

During a question-and-answer session with reporters on November 29, last year, Trump referred to the letter of intent but suggested he never signed it.

“I don’t even remember it"

Ok? So? Trump says he doesn't know about even the letter of intent, and didn't sign it....Maybe he did, maybe he didn't....What's that got to do with anything? Other than ofcourse trump haters blowing everything so out of proportion to the point that it isn't even recognizable as to what actually happened for their own political narrative...

Problem is that you have a lot of speculation based on what a convicted liar says, and NO proof of your conclusion.

Why do you give Trump the credit for both of those and not the seven years before it which created both?

And since you seem to know everything about it....Tell me, what was the deal they had....I'll wait...

If it had been revealed in 2016 during the campaign that Donald Trump was actively working on a deal with Russian interests... what do you think would have happened?

They knew it was bad... that is why they hid it.

I think what you are confusing here is that a letter of intent, is not "business dealings".... All that is, is a business telling a prospect that they are willing to see IF business can be done....

I don't care about the letter of intent. Let's just say it never existed. Lets say that his lawyer didn't go on national tv and lie about Trump never signing a letter of intent. That never happened.

STILL, the president shouldn't be lying and pretending he has no business dealings with a country when he's actively trying to reach a deal with that country.

The president or his children or his campaign officials have lied about a dozen plus contacts with Russians, discussions and details of a hotel deal in Russia, a signed letter of intent on the hotel and on and on, but when the media reports on it or the FBI investigates all of these lies, Trump attacks the media and the FBI. His lies are weakening the country. It's one thing to lie about banging a pornstar. It's not right, but I get it. It's none of our business where he sticks his pee pee. This is very different. You can't treat this like a typical unfulfilled campaign promise or something like that. This is national security. This is a big ****ing deal.

Matter of fact, I take you for one, once Trump is gone (likely soon) give you six months to a year, you'll be denying you ever supported him much. We'll see, but I suspect the denial will set in strong once you think nobody remembers you felating Trump at EVERY opportunity. I'll be there to remind you tho.:lamo

Sugar highs is all the GOP has, and it's already wearing off. Trump is showing his stuff now, and the trainwreck is in progress.....

Oh, you must be one of the cheerleaders for the destruction of America....You know, the ones that told us during the last administration that flat GDP growth was "the new norm".... Now that the economy takes off, people like you want to come in here and give Obama the credit....That's a joke...He blamed Bush for anything bad in his time, and now wants credit for anything good in this time....

Well, cheer lead for America failing all you want, the rest of us will enjoy the prosperity....

So, what you are saying, is that if anyone considers even running for president, they have to give up their current business to do so...And if they don't win, what then?

Sent from my SM-T587P using Tapatalk

If their business interests are in conflict with the interests of the United States, yes.

At the very least, they should have full disclosure of their conflicts of interests during the election process with a remedy to cure upon election. Maintaining a conflict between your personal interest and the interest of the people is the very definition of corruption.

Trump not only failed to disclose his material conflict of interest, he lied about it. That is called fraud. What we are seeing played out by Trump is corruption in its ugliest form.

Weak dude...You quoted me, then posted that stupid meme instead of using your own words, and got called on it, now you want to say it wasn't directed at me....Do better.

No, no....You don't get to blame everything bad on Bush for 8 years, then take credit for everything good today....I can't help you that Obama didn't do better....

If it had been revealed in 2016 during the campaign that Donald Trump was actively working on a deal with Russian interests... what do you think would have happened?

LOL....You people would see conspiracy in anything....

The prosperity of the shutdown or coming economic slowdown your boy wil FAIL at handling? Yeah right.

Not really answering the question that is being posed.

I am not speaking of conspiracy, but what we know was actually going on in 2016.

So I will ask once again, if it was known during the 2016 election that Donald Trump was pursuing a real estate deal with Russian interests, right up to Election Day mind you, and was in contact with banks under US sanctions... what effect would that have had on the election?

If there was nothing wrong with it, then why have they worked to hide the information?

Yes, its weak on one hand.... but unfortunately its spot on.

Trump's defense (and those that defend Trump) almost always follow this road map. It is very rare that a Trump defense stops with "I did not do it"..... it generally progresses along this road map. Again, because he is likely the most corrupt individual that has ever darkened the door of the White House.

People defending Trump are consistently entangled in his moral relativism. As a result, those defenders usually become untethered from their own moral compass. Corruption begets corruption.

And I think deep down guys like him understand this, and the thought of him getting away with it absolutely DELIGHTS them. They just think it's "payback for Obama".

I don't care about the letter of intent.

Please....liberals came after this breathlessly, like it was some smoking gun, just like they do everything else anyone tells them....Trouble is, they don't know what they are talking about...

Ok, what business dealings does he have with Russia?

I don't see any documentation on your claims here...Plus, I thought you started this silly response with "Let's say the letter of intent didn't exist", now you want to throw that in....Could you be any more confused in your own argument?

Accusations with no proof are now "big ****ing deal's"???? Especially, when made by political detractors that have demonstrated that their entire emotional well being is dependent on smearing, and destroying this man? hardly, that is just silly.

:coffeepap:

Just assume everything that Trump says is a lie. That's his business model. If you don't understand that you have no way of dealing with him as a candidate or president.

Trump followers are hastening the destruction of America. Wittingly in the case of a few senior deplorable kleptocrats, unwittingly for the merely credulous drones.
