It's one of the many instances of Trump proving what a petty, classless individual he is. I'm not sure what having a more beautiful wife has to do with anything, especially when that beautiful wife repeatedly swats your hand away when you try to hold it.

Or a greedy power hungry slime ball who will accept such actions on the off chance it will bring them money and or power. I doubt Cruz is of the forgiving type, and is more among the power hungry type who will try to cling to power, no matter how much fecal matter gets thrown at him
