It is not only those people of color from Africa and Central and South America that the Trumpsters are deporting, it is also Vietnamese who fought on our side and came here after the fall of Vietnam to the Communist North. Even though there is a treaty that is supposed to keep them safe, the Trump Administration has apparently already sent some back that were covered by the treaty. I can see now this country is whites only. Next it will be the Hmong. They are the hill fighters that fought for us and will probably be killed if sent back as both the Vietnamese hate them.

Well if the liberal democrats cared so much about these people then they shouldn't have been a pro-communist lobby during the Vietnam war.
Now, lets look at the details listed in the article, of the 8,600 people targeted 7,800 have criminal convictions, meaning while here as a non-US national they have purposefully violated our criminal codes which are clearly and publically published for all to know about, so they performed an act they knew or should have known was a crime, got convicted, and deportation is possible for that. Later in the article it explains some are otherwise unlawfully in the United States, the remedy for which is deportation. That means the remaining 1,000 people are not legal residents, did not have a valid asylum claim or didn't make one, etc. Also the article goes on to explain the issue is over people who generally left Vietnam well after the war, and not those who necessarily fled it.
So the narrative you made is not even supported by your own source.
Pre-1995 Vietnam refugees were granted immunity from deportation. You should have seen that in the article, if you actually read it.
We know. American promises mean nothing. We see that a lot here lately.by whom? I can't find where this agreement was ratified by the senate, hence it is merely a suggestion and not law, the law provides for the removal of individuals who violate US Criminal law, and while we may agree to not deport certain people, no right to such was created by a purely administrative agreement. Unless this was ratified by the senate and I just missed it, this doesn't really matter that much.
