More of the same ....

Thank you

This viewpoint is the same old anti-arab racism that has pervaded this forum it seems for quite a while.

Name another "hate filled bunch" in the UN...

Why, does there have to be one?

The west does not need a declaration of war to kill many, not that the conduct of war is an excuse to kill anyway.

The some of the arab nations have fought Israel a number of times and are opposed to the policies of that state.

What do you mean?

Simply that bias in favour of one's own point of view is as natural and as common as breath.

You can when the the decisions that go in your favor are from the Security Council and the ones that condemn are from the General Assembly. Thos are two different voting bodies.

This would be a fair point if the security council nations had not also cast a vote on the resolutions along with the members of the general assembly.

Why, does there have to be one?

You had said: "Nor are Arabs representing to the UN a hate filled bunch. At least more than others."

I asked you to name the others which are a hate filled bunch more than the Arabs.

War without declaration is sufficient.

The some of the arab nations have fought Israel a number of times and are opposed to the policies of that state.

They want to "drive it into the sea".

Name one such resolution of the security council and its outcome.

Please tell me, if you rebuttal to the charges of warcrimes from multiple sources is, "You are all biased!," how exactly does that offer the agencies anything they can react to?

The Gazans are providing videos, stories, examples, etc. of these instances, to whih Israel has offered nothing. If you are charged, regardless of your institution, with investigating allegations, you can only make decisions based off the information that is provided you.

Here is the reality of Gaza. A bunch of 19 year old kids are quickly mobilized, and based on a genaric training set (no specificty to the Gaza operation), and are introduced into one of the most complex military conditions imagineable.

And we are supposed to believe that every single one of them got everything 100% correct? Even after Israeli soldiers returned home and all but admitted to the deliberate targetting of civilians (allegations quickly stamped out by the IHC).

That is the case that Israel has allowed to be presented. There has been no talk of the complexity and teh simple acknowledgement that mistakes are made in complex, fluid situations. There has been no talk of under writing legitimate mistakes made by those on the battlefield. There has been no talk of the steps Israel took to prevent civilian death, in the context of having to balance civilian lives with the necessity of pursing the enemy in battle.

In sharp contrast, has anyone from Hamas come out and said, "We did not fire ANY rockets at Israel's cities. This is a lie, and one born of hatred for everything Arab that permeats the UN and other Western institutions!"

The simple fact of the matter is that Israel allowed their enemy to get out better information faster to set the narrative of Gaza. Israel gave its enemies the initiative in the information domain, and when you allow you enemy to set the scene ... that has nothing to do with bias in the UN or HRW.

For those of you who cannot tell the difference between criticism and Anti-semitism, please bear in mind that the failure to make the Israeli case has now resulted in senior Israeli officials having to mind which countries they visit for fear of being held on war crimes accussations. You can scream Anti-Semitism all you want, and it will not change the result of the Israeli policy that was adopted.
