More Fun with guns!

https://komonews.com/news/local/mom-accidentally-shot-in-neck-by-4-year-old-child-in-skyway

Just keeping the family safe by keeping a loaded gun under the mattress.

Pregnant mom shot by 4 year old.

The odds are greater you will be shot by accident in your home than you will use a gun to protect yourself in your home... by a lot. But the "red hats" need more guns.

I guess according to the right the lesson to be learned here, shoot your kids before they shoot you. I see you are being inundated with responses.

I would say the lesson to be learned here is to secure the firearms properly.

But what the gun grabbers won't admit to is that she has the Constitutional Right to be shot in the face by her 4 year old son.

Just like this 29 year old mom had the right to be shot dead in Wal-Mart by her two year old:

Lots of us non “red hats” keep firearms in our homes, properly secured at all times. This story isn’t about bad firearms, it’s about the possible consequences of being an irresponsible firearm owner.

That is because the consequences are not 100% fatal.

If lax gun control were always punished with the death of the stupid, it would be looked at completely differently.

Natural selection.

LOL, well of course not.

LOL

That's exactly right. I grew up around guns. I have dozens of relatives that all grew up around guns. Not a single member of my family has been accidentally shot.

Stupid, careless people are no reason for gun control.

The plural of anecdote is NOT data.

Glad I could help.

Obviously you missed the point: you worry about what goes on in your home and I'll worry about what goes on in mine.

See where I'm coming from?

yeah, it's always the other guy...

you go with that

That's one way to look at it.

But that kinda negates the whole "you worry about your house and I'll worry about mine" argument, as stupidity in your house could lead to stupidity harming me at mine, now couldn't it?

I'm betting you don't live anywhere near me. So, no, nothing that goes on in my home could ever harm you.

It was a general statement, but if the win matters that much, I'll concede now and let you have it.

For anyone who DOES live somewhere near you, I hope for thier sake you are right. You being wrong isn't a really good option for them.

It's more likely that your neighbor is going to burn your house down, because their kids were playing with fire. Children accidentally start 20,000 fires every year.

https://www.nationwidechildrens.org...njury-topics/burns/children-playing-with-fire

Do you have smoke detectors and an escape plan?

Kitchen fires cause about 172,000 structure fires every year.

https://www.nfpa.org/News-and-Research/Data-research-and-tools/US-Fire-Problem/Home-Cooking-Fires

Do you have fire extinguishers in your home? Have you learned how to use them? Do you know how to fight a grease fire?

People who don't have fire extinguishers in their home, a real fire extinguisher, are far more irresponsible than any gun owner, even irresponsible gun owners.

only guns are made for the purpose of slaughter

BIG difference to the reasoned.

Is that how you justify ignoring 100,000 children being poisoned every year?

Man, you people have your priorities all ****ed up. :lamo
