Experts surer of manmade global warming but local predictions elusive - World - DNA

Drafts seen by Reuters of the study by the UN panel of experts, due to be published next month, say it is at least 95 percent likely that human activities - chiefly the burning of fossil fuels - are the main cause of warming since the 1950s. That is up from at least 90 percent in the last report in 2007, 66 percent in 2001, and just over 50 in 1995, steadily squeezing out the arguments by a small minority of scientists that natural variations in the climate might be to blame.

Got it? They are even surer that that the warming that isn't happening is due to man.

Can another Nobel Peace prize be in the offing.

{Derisive cackle}

Is he suggesting that the world hasn't gotten warmer since 1950?

No-I'm suggesting it hasn't warmed in anywhere from 12 to 18 years.

Which is not what the quote you pasted was discussing. They were discussing a ~60 year period. So what's funny, again?

The issue with statements like this is that warmest and warming,
are as different as fast and accelerating.
So a phrase like "warmest" is a point in time, not a change in value over time.

Was that supposed to falsify my statement? ( It didn't )

According to the article posted, the climate scientists don't know what's going on, but they're pleased to beat their chests about it all. The world is getting warmer, and man has caused it. We just don't feel it yet, nor do we see much of the result. But, trust me, it's getting warmer. And warmer. And warmer....Look into my eyes...You are getting warmer....

Says the man who thinks a "12 to 18" year temperature lull falsifies a statement about warming since the 1950s.

Temperature has changed since the 1950s. Do you seriously not believe this?

Can you also quote which part of the article lead you to the conclusion that "climate scientists don't know what's going on?"
