Mom insisted there was no point in 'putting myself down' after allegedly killing her 3-year-old in botched exorcism

And a vile false generalisation.

It boggles the mind that people in this day and age still believe in demonic possessions or exorcism.
Why? Alito apparently still believed in Hale of the 1650s as a respectable reference in a Supreme Court draft, and Hale believed in witchcraft and putting witches to death, something he ensured in two cases, as well as the illegitimacy of the concept of marital rape.

There are many, many people today in the US who belong in the 1600s, the 1850s, etc. It's cringeworthy, but no one knows how to send them back where they belong.
