Moderate candidate on course to win in Iran?

Could it be? Some good news for once out of Iran?
Still taking into account that Rohani is still a far-right politician supported by the Guardian council -- Yeah, I think it's at least indicative of the opposition still living in Iran.

He won. There won't be a run-off.

This is why Obama is now arming the Syrian rebels. He wants to piss off Iran by enabling a Sunni revolution in Syria which will of course bring in Iranian response.

I never feel comfortable about these 'moderate' Islamic leaders until they have spent a couple of years in office. They all seemed 'moderate' at one time or another. The word has lost a lot of is meaning.

It doesn't matter, the Ayattolah will still be running the country.
