There are now 53 studies that show positive results of hydroxychloroquine in COVID infections,” Hatfill wrote in RealClearPolitics. “There are 14 global studies that show neutral or negative results -- and 10 of them were of patients in very late stages of COVID-19, where no antiviral drug can be expected to have much effect.”

It’s interesting to see Trump blamed for Covid 19 deaths but not governors that ban a potentially helpful medication just to spite Trump.

A better question is why is any governor banning any medications?
That was my thought as well. Maybe the drug helps, maybe it does not, why are governors interfering with peoples ability to make medical decisions. Imagine the outrage from the left if govenors decided to ban the pill.

It isn’t a matter of “recommending” it or not. It’s a matter of actually preventing it’s use despite evidence it may help.

It should be neither promoted nor detracted outside of the advice of qualified medical professionals. Politicians should have never once brought it up.

Better question = you don't want to answer my question or provide any proof for your assertion?

Has anyone banned any medications? From what I understand, this order only allowed the medicine to be dispensed if there is a diagnosis associated with it. This prevents doctors from giving out prescriptions for this medicine so that it can be taken as a prophylactic, which follows the advice given by essentially all medical organizations, with the notable exception of the demon sperm lady. So it wasn't banned. He was merely limiting irresponsible use of the drug.

So now he’s ok with “irresponsible use?”

Correct No Politician should have said a thing on specific drugs, it is not their place.

Not unless that politician is a qualified scientist, doctor, pharmacist, or otherwise an expert.

I think if people want to use HCQ, they should be able to.

Just to get people on both sides to stop yammering about it.

On March 27, 2020, I issued Executive Order 20-23, which authorized Minnesota health-related
licensing boards to modify licensure requirements during the COVID-19 peacetime emergency.
Executive Order 20-23 also authorized the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy to require that
prescription drug orders for chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine must contain an appropriate
diagnosis and be dispensed for no more than 30 days at a time. Although the modification of
licensure requirements remains necessary during the pandemic, we no longer need to limit the
use of chloroquine or hydroxychloroquine because these medicines have not been proven to be
effective treatments for COVID-19 and are no longer in high demand.
The authorization for the
Minnesota Board of Pharmacy to implement dispensing limitations related to these medicines is
no longer necessary and can be rescinded.

This isn't complicated dude. It's very obvious that you are just throwing **** against the wall and making baseless accusations.

So since there’s been a lack of demand (while banned) and he’s more certain now than ever that it doesn’t even have the potential to help he’s lifting restrictions on its use? What ass backward reasoning. Well, he is a lefty.
