According to the objections I saw, he insulted people who didn't pay income tax...seniors and children. Children weren't voting and I believe he still won the senior vote.

Not sure what the single mothers thing had to do with his 47% statement?

We can deduct a percentage of our home phone, mulch spreading, painting, carpeting, electricity, oil, etc. etc. Plus we have very large charitable donations (animal charities), both cash donations and other donations (mileage, material, etc.) On most years we get a good sized refund, and both us have high tax deductions from our paychecks. That means that technically he and I pay no taxes. But I didn't vote for Obama, so Romney was wrong about me. I voted for him.

Because so far I've only heard her talk about voting rights, paid family leave", minimum wage, mandatory pre-schooling, women's healthcare, her mother and praise her husband and Obama. Oh and she said she was fighter and compared herself to FDR. lol But to my knowledge she's hardly said a word about the bevy of GOP clowns that are 50 points behind her in the polls. :2razz:

Well, I can't say that they aren't hard workers, I know that I worked my ass off when I was a dishwasher. They just aren't doing skilled work. They're doing jobs that literally anyone can do with no skill or experience. But, through working my ass off, I didn't stay at minimum wage for very long.

It reminds me of the young white non-spanish speaking man I met a few years back, he and his small family moved from Idaho to the Phoenix area of AZ to start up a landscaping business.....like the spanish speaking population hadn't already cornered that market. Seniors went pretty heavily for Romney, somewhere around 60%. They don't just vote on Social Security and Medicare, and most of them are probably astute enough to know that no President can take away either one of those things anyway. This isn't a dictatorship.

I dunno about that. I heard the new trade deal includes money taken from Medicare to pay for the retraining of people who lose their jobs due to the trade deal. I don't know how many people that would be but I think it would be detrimental and not what I paid into Medicare for.
