He's telling the truth.
Romney did try to make a "small" bet of $10,000 with Rick Perry.
Romney did insult 47% of voters and praised the wealthy as the sole job creators.
Romney did favor cutting income taxes on the wealthy as well as capital gains and dividend taxes.
Only a liar would say he didn't.
So, where did he call voters 'moochers'?
He only insulted the voters who live off the workers. He didn't insult people who work hard for a living. That's why he still received 47% of the total votes cast.
I can't believe we're still discussing this.
Romney claimed that the 47% of Americans who don't make enough to pay income tax (a figure that includes children and retirees) don't take responsibility for their own lives, rely on government for everything, and are guaranteed Obama voters. All three of which were ludicrously wrong.
Those were his words.
So? You didn't vote for him. If you pay taxes, he didn't hurt your feelings, did he?
What's your point? Marginalizing nearly half of the population with untrue statements was a stupid thing to do, and it cost him dearly. Good. Mitt Romney is an asshole.
Hillary needs to run on her record and Obama policy successes.
No matter what you think of Obama...at least he doesn't believe in wearing magic underwear and becoming the emperor of a planet when he dies (and, maybe decides to bring his wife up to the celestial kingdom).
Mitt is a twit, so far out of touch with reality. CTR, Pay Lay Ale
What's my point about you not voting for him? No point. You were upset that I posted about Romney's words. And I'm sure the only reason you didn't vote for him was because of what he said....right? Do you honestly care what that cost him?
I wasn't a big fan of Romney for a while, but I enjoyed voting for him that November day. I wish he had won. Obama sucks.
I wish Mitt had won. I enjoyed voting for him. I'd actually do it again in a heartbeat.
If you could miss the point harder, I can't imagine how.
Do you agree with Romney's statement that those 47% don't take responsibility for their own lives and rely on government for everything? And do you see how that was a massive turnoff for a lot of voters? Or are you going to play whatever silly little game you're playing?
Well he didn't. Maybe your Golden Boy shouldn't have maligned half the electorate, and done so in such an inaccurate fashion.
Wow. GTFO, he didn't win the election? Thanks for pointing that out.
It's true that a candidate for President should write off 47% of voters because they are moochers? It was that attitude that was insulting.
She has no record to run on. Time for people to help her and her sycophants to realize.....they are the Joke of the neighborhood. Especially all those Illiberals.
So, where did he call voters 'moochers'?
So men don't have to pass a looks test to be president but women must look like fashion models?I bet, selling our uranium to Putin makes her glowing in the dark. Honestly, do you really want a portly (I'm sorry, but it's true), sickly, old (69 in 2016) lady with an awful baggage to be our President?
I was being facetious, it doesn't matter what she's done or not done, they will vote for her.
So men don't have to pass a looks test to be president but women must look like fashion models?
You need help.
Yes, can you spare a couple extra million? I want to talk to a few candidates one on one.
Well that's true. So will those for Bush. Rand Paul and Bernie Sanders.
Although, Hillary was just telling NH people that her income doesn't matter to voters.
Even more Hillarylarious was watching one of her Team members denying there were polls out showing most of the country don't trust her. Especially independents. Now that was some funny ****. Some dude who could be the male version of Marie Harf.
Nothing like denying reality, huh?
So, I am lying? About what, specifically? Is the bet offered Perry a lie; the comment about the 47%; his tax policy? No, all of that is true.MTAtech said:Romney tried to make a "small" bet of $10,000 with Rick Perry. Romney insulted 47% of voters as "moochers" and praised the wealthy as the sole job creators. Leftists lie to gain office so their sycophants then carry on with the lie, hoping others are as foolish and gullible as they.
Tell the truth and be a mensch!
