The Pelican’s Briefs

Not altogether long ago the Mormon mass of flesh moved across the face of North America like so many amphibians looking for a pond to dunk their heads in.
They found it in Salt Lake City where they raised up a powerful and inbred civilization in the middle of the desert.
Yes, the sons of those first Utah pioneers have attended decade after decade to the University known as Bring ‘em Young. Named after the founder of the Mormon Church – Bring ‘em Young, who, by using the opportunities of remote location and the Bible was able to forge a society of men that would take and marry girl children and turn them into mindless automatons capable of regurgitating at the snap of your fingers any message from the Bible that had been drilled into their soft little heads.
It was this forward thinking Mormon man who, upon being handed the tablets of behavior from the Angel Moroni promptly lost them along the way.
The long history of Mormon adherence to a few simple principles and a few simple minded children – has caused a virtual explosion in the desert.
The practicing of Bring ‘em Young haven’t been without dangers however. Autism and mental illness have dogged the Mormons ever since they got together in the first place – and it’s clearly not just because of all that sun as their neighbors are fond of saying.
No – it’s not.
Now that this nation is finally on track to moral and right living it is time to disband and disperse the corrupt and perverted church of the Mormon heathen. It is time to knock one stone from another in the Bring ‘em Young University and to arrest, jail and disperse all of the base and low individuals of the Mormon Church spread throughout Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming and Utah.
They threaten the very fabric of our nation with their perversions of faith and their sins before our God.
With this new birth in our nation let it not be aborted for the sake of money and cash and the ill will of cash rich men like the Mormons in the United States Chamber of Commerce. Let us burst the bonds of sin that they have shackled upon the earth and cease to allow brother to marry sister and father to marry daughter and son to marry aunt and mother. It is time to strike their sin from the face of the earth.
The Mormon Church is in the business of sin and all of its cash and property should be taxed. They owe back taxes for decades and should be made to pay for their sinful behavior and their free living.
It is time to set this nation right and the Mormon Church is going to be the best example to show the world that we mean business.
It has already been said that Karl Rove – from Utah – has begun the process to pull down the statue of the Native American Princess that adorns our nation’s capitol and replace it with the likeness of the Angel Moroni – the demon that Bring ‘em Young claims to have been visited by and given tablets of behavior from God.
Another - Governor Mitt Romney of Massachusettes, has quietly hidden his own beliefs. One thing the Mormons believe is that you can become a God on earth - keep that in mind as Romney continues his move toward the Presidency and advances to the White House.
We cannot allow them to continue to dirty our nation, our history and our laws.

At first I thought you were going to suggest that Mitt and Karl be running mates for the 2008 presidential election. You couldn't have picked two more decent and powerful Conservatives in which to match together as a dream team. While there is no doubt that a Republican will win the 2008 presidential election--my first choice is Mitt Romney.

All that other nonsense about you ragging on the Mormon religion is just that...nonsense. Of course, JFK took quite a riddling because of his Catholic faith, but that didn't seem to matter in the long run.

Karl Rove as president? :rofl

That's just rediculous. I give him credit towards being a slick, manipulating, lying smut monger. He has served Bush well. But it takes a bit more than that to become president. Even IF he is a republican. His schtick has about ran it's course anyways.

Too many Americans absolutely hate this trailer park low life.

You clearly put your religion before your country - if you can call it a religion.

OK...

This trash belongs in the basement. Period.

I'm Mormon (not the best example of one, I'll give you that) and you could say I take this garbage intended to make you feel better a little personally. That aside,

1. Can you please prove that Brigham Young founded the Church and not Joseph Smith. Even South Park viewers hahve that down.
2. Can you please provide any shred of evidence that the members went west for any reason other than to avoid being killed? The last town they left before going west was completely destroyed after there leader was assainated in jail by a mob with the help of the authorities.
3. Provide evidence that Brigham Young University is more than a University run by a Church, akin to Baylor or Southern Methodist (SMU), but is actually some kind of 'brain-washing' factory you described above.
4. Provide proof that Karl Rove made the statement you said he did, when he wasn't sucking it up to Mormon voters, like he does to Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, Hispanics (I clearly remember Jorge Bush singing the national anthem in espagnol), Blacks, or any other group of people.
5. Any proof, any, that the LDS Church is doing anything illegal, chiefly:
a. Polygamy: One statement saying it is OK to break the law and do this. The Church did endorse this once, about 175 years ago and even then it was only 5% of the entire church that did this. It's been banned by the Church for well over 100 years. Prove me wrong, but not by quoting the 'Untra Fundamentalist Church of the Mormons'.

b. Back Taxes: Haven't heard this one. Something issued from the IRS that states the church hasn't paid.

Finally, you're claim that the LDS Church wants to take over is ridiculous. Unless you haven't heard Harry Reid bash Bush lately, something he is very talented at doing. (not that it takes much talent).

But let me guess, you're Baptist or something fundamentalist Christian like that? Preaching all the 'we need to get rid of these people to be a good Christian nation' stuff gave it away. So what's next, Jews, maybe Muslims? Should I stay tuned for next weeks sermon?

Of course its not going to happen but boy would that make Liberals tight jawed if Rove ran for president and the silent majority rose up and voted for him...........All Hollywood scum would move to Canada just like they did when Bush won........

Why would this be desirable? Just to piss off liberals?

Rove as President would make for a modern day Caligula. He would expand the executive to the point of tyranny, and turn the entire world against us with his PNAC politics.

Putting religion over country was one of design for conversatives associate toward the Bush Administration. Yet, America still hasn't created and thus, emulated an impartial and positive moral code of conduct that can relate toward every human being in America, and not be driven by the same religious control facing politics and other areas of policy and government.

The inner cities are getting worst yet, no religious conservative steps forth to assist in allowing a moral code to be embrace.

Actually, President Bush became a primary politican for his party based on image , family, and "religious disposition" and not based on his govern within Texas, which wasn't impressive.

Excuting criminals every month didn't defunct crime in Texas. Preventing Americans from entering the life of illegal-ness and inhumane dispositions would have been better served for presidency in my view.

Image only, can win you the presidency. Research all the professors and other trained professionals Mr. Rove brought in to educate President Bush before his first run for presidency.

And yes, those individuals that prepared President Bush and made him seem more intelligent and educated have high paying duties within his administration.

Rove would be a female Clinton? Im sorry what was the point of your post?

Joby - I invite you to keep your religion out of this discussion. Your elders must have told you that you cannot separate your beliefs from your political views and in that case, your political views are invalidated because they do not reflect your own beliefs, they reflect the beliefs of an organized body that is not recognized as an authority in anything outside of it high walls and windowless buildings.

Mitt Romney is, in my opinion, an embarassment to the Republican party.

There is no excuse for the atrocities against American pioneers. In fact, the Mormon Church has never apologized for the murders and I think it is high time that happens.

It's not too much to ask considering this country has given Mormons a place to live and work all this time. They have amassed fortunes in ease and comfort while American men and women have been slaugthered on battlefields around the world.

ROFL. What an idiot. This crapston dude is obviousley jealous of the success of the Mormon church. No wonder so many people hate Republicans. People like you!! I think I might become a democrat now. A crackpot liberal too!

Oh the drama. ROve couldn't be elected but this sky is falling nonsense is equally far fetched. The bigoted rant against Mormons by crasston is pathetic.
