He did this prior to the Trump terrorists storming the Capitol Building. What he did was raise 2 fists and then raised both middle fingers and said this is for you, Donald Trump. Yes folks, the third most powerful member of the GOP had that to say to his soon to be former boss. His speech was spot on and priceless.

When both democrats and republicans line up on the same side watch out!

That's why trump told his trump democrats to stand down.

The only thing that was patently false on this speech was his attempt to equate this insurrection with what happened in 2000 and 2016. Whereby Gore challenged the results in Florida which he was entitled to do, Gore accepted the recount and then conceded. Similar events transpired in 2016. But from a political stand point. I understand that McConnell had to make some form of lame effort to save face. The theme of his speech was loud and clear. That was giving the middle finger to Trump and his bullshit claims. For that, the GOP leader gets kudos from me.

Too little too late wouldn't you say? The turtle has aided and facilitated Trumpism for 4 years. This sounds more like a death bed confession.

**** Moscow Mitch.
