Mistake of Czech government

It is astonishing how much some European countries desire to play up to USA. Thus new Czech government after 8 hours in power (!) hurriedly agreed with US plans concerning dispatch of American Anti-Ballistic Missile system parts on Czech territory. They just ignored their own people’s will for there were numerous remonstrant actions all over the country against placing US radar station in Czechia.
Well this stupid position amounts to a political suicide. They must refuse that notorious American ABM in the country. As for me I don’t see any sense of such cringing to United States. They are definitely after military aims only. Czechia needs rather economic upgrading now imo.

A anit-ballistic system causes no harm, its rather good than bad. Its just a shame the Czechs didnt make it themself.

An anti-ballistic system can give the US the illusion of safety and this way lower the barrier to use these weapons themselves.

This one causes great harm if it is indeed against the will of the people.

It is not exactly against the will of the people, according to a poll 46% of the Czechs are in favor of the system, 45% per cent see a rising danger. However, the Topolanek government doesn't want a referendum about it, they prefer to take it to the parliament. In the parliament especially the CSSD is against the plan.
