There is a tidal wave of people still remaining silent, but they cannot be gaslighted with “correlation does not equal causation” much longer. If you break out in hives right after eating peanuts for the first time, that doesn’t mean it was the peanuts. But do you keep eating peanuts, and doubling down on peanuts? Any allergist who said “More peanuts! Correlation does not equal causation!” would be sued for malpractice.
